I have to go to both 24 hr fitness to get a complete workout... elliptical machines are challenged to say the least and there are none at this location... The staff is friendly

Excellent for a 24 Hour Fitness. Real metal dumbbells up to 160 lbs and various free weight areas throughout the gym. Good selection of machines and equipment you usually don't see at 24 Hour Fitness will definitely return if in Reno again.

I cancelled my membership in-person on a Sunday because I had not used the gym in six months. We joined primarily to use the pool and it was closed or too dirty to use most of the times we visited. This gym is nice enough if you don't care about the pool.

The rep at the front desk took my information and said the manager would process on Monday. The next month I got a charge on my credit card. I called the gym and they said they were undergoing a change in management and it would be cancelled next month and that they couldn't do anything about the charge. I contested the charge with my credit card and then started getting calls from collections. I explained the situation to collections, repeatedly, and they said I would have to cancel the membership with member services and that I would still need to pay for this month. I'm leaving this review in hopes that it gets this gym's attention and they resolve the situation by ensuring my membership is cancelled, that my account has a zero balance, and that I am not contacted by their collections department again. What a headache.

Great gym in South Reno right off 395 with lots of parking, having had trained here for years when I was younger, I look back and miss a big nice 24 hour fitness. This place has it all, from a pool, sauna, steam room, hot tub, a large cardio deck, multi fitness room and a massive free weight and machine flow. Everything is clean, the staff is held to a standard and the cost is minimal for all that you get. Try moving to a small town, where there is no competition to make business see and understand how to maintain a high quality product.

Outdoor pool in such a cold area? Seriously? I'm from San Diego and the gym pools there are all indoor and it doesn't have the extreme temperatures it does up here. AND IT'S NOT EVEN OPEN 24 HOURS HALF THE WEEK

I was not impressed with both locations in Reno. The cardio machine I was on had broken buttons and the program shut down to early. The outdoor pool is a bad choice for a cold area. The outdoor whirlpool was not working with maintenance issues to be repaired the following month from a person from Sacramento? The front desk person was on his phone constantly, while the locker room was not that clean. The other location had no pool.

I love this gym over the one on sky mountain. However the staff is not as friendly and helpful as they should be.

I am happy so far it isn't packed all the time like a lot of gyms, plus the guys up front are really sweet, and answer my questions about how to use a new workout thing. That is why I stay there!!!

I have gone there for years . From time to time there have been issues but they always eventually get resolved . Lately no problems to talk about .

Started working out again, found a 24-hour fairly close to my house. Feels great to work out again place is not always full and packed. Machines are usually available when I'm there.

Staff is very friendly. Place is pretty clean. I have only gone once before 8 in the morning and it was slightly busy that day. Most days I'm there after 8 and there's very few people working out. Looking forward to some pool time. Basketball court usually has one or two people on the floor.

This place is garbage. Their equipment is unstable and I'm positve that somebody who doesn't lift set the place up. The north Reno 24 is way better. Wasted my preworkout coming to this place.

Love this place! Ed the front desk rep is awesome! He refers to everyone by name and is always smiling. Makes for a positive workout.

I've been to many gyms where I live and this one is my favorite.

The power rack I tend to use for most of my workout is always available. They have 2.5 lb weights for my progressive lifting schedule. They have plenty of cardio machines and everything else I need to get through my complicated routine.

The staff was also very helpful during our time here.

24 hr fitness 6165 Neil Rd, Reno
Very poor upkeep, it has been months
to repair the pool heater. At times their
personnel do not perform even an adequate maintenance program.
Including:
* NO HAND SOAP IN ANY OF THE RECEPTACLES IN THE RESTROOM.
* AFTER A WORKOUT-ON TWO OCCASIONS THERE WAS NO BODY
SOAP WHEN TAKING A Shower.
* HAD TO REQUEST TOULET TISSUE
FOR A MEMBER.
* IN THE PAST THE POOL WAS UNFIT TO
SWIM IN. To me it was disgusting.

The workout machines are cool and the foot traffic is ok. I have never had to wait for a bench or machine.

Great gym, better of the two 24 options in Reno. Clean and not very busy!
