I paid Kent $1,325.00 in 4 months for personal 1 on 1 training. It started out good but about half way through the 3rd month things started to decline. Kent cancelled training sessions on short notice, he was often late, he would add other clients to my workout times without asking my permission, there were also issues with his attention to detail. For example, Kent never encouraged stretching or rolling out the muscles before our after training, he would just throw you into an intense workout. He didn't track any of my workouts or the weight I was lifting, so that the appropriate adjustments could be made. One time he had me do 100 dead lifts of 100 lbs, but that is just stupid and unnecessary for the goals I was trying to achieve- in my opinion it was just laziness. He didn't want to take the time to put together decent workout. Doing those 100 dead lifts caused me to have back pain that I am still trying to get corrected. I know of other clients that suffered injuries at his gym for ridiculous workouts. The workouts weren't the reason I left the gym. I decided to end my membership at the gym due to poor business practices and lack of professionalism. However, I feel like Kent forced me into this negative review when he refused to provide me proof of payment and a copy of my 12 week contract so that I could get my fitness reimbursement from my employer. He claimed that he does not provide his paperwork to former clients and when I told him that I was legally entitled to my contact, he responded with "I guess you will have to sue me then" See attached photo.

I would be doing the public a disservice if I lied during this review, with that said I would have to agree with EVERY review that has been posted thus far. The definition of a personal trainer - a certified person with varying knowledge to help clients achieve fitness results through motivation, accountability and goal setting. It can not be denied that he is a great personal trainer. He will produce results, whether that's weight loss, building muscle, increased strength, etc. However, his business practices, personal and professional decisions and moral compass do directly influence who people should conduct business with and support, and all things considered, I, as a woman would have a hard time supporting a man with the characteristics he possesses.

Very knowledgeable about strength training and nutrition. Great strength trainer for males, especially with the use of steroids that he uses for clients. But I strongly suggest ALL females to steer clear of this man as well as any males who respect women. He has a proven track record of being a narcissistic, womanizing, manipulative and controlling who has literally funded his whole operation from gaining overweight women's trust, manipulating them into believing they were in relationships with him (multiple at the same time), having sexual relationships with the majority of his clientele and then borrowing thousands of dollars (upwards of at least $20,000) that he can't pay back and or has no intentions of paying back. He has now done this to numerous women and have funded and outfitted his whole gym thanks to them. He takes advantage of vulnerable women who are trying to improve their health while emotionally damaging them, and putting them in financial hardships. I strongly suggest you keep your mom, your daughters, your wives, your aunts, probably even your son (because he has such a serious sex addiction problem) away from this gym and this man, as there is no one off limits. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT fund his pockets if you have any sort of respect for women in your life.
