This place lets me learn self defense and I made amazing friends, in this dojo we become a family. It also allows you to have a certain freedom that once you get good enough you can add your own stuff into your jiu jitsu game. I would highly recommend trying 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Omaha.

Best martial arts school I have ever had the privilege of attending. Everyone feels welcomed at any skill level, from complete beginners to champion fighters. The people at Sims Dojo/10th planet jiu jitsu are the best, from the instructors to the students everyone is friendly and will push you to become a better version of yourself.
Do yourself a favor and drop into a class to try it out.
Jiu jitsu. More addictive than crystal meth, and way more rewarding lol.

Convenient location, friendly staff and students, even to noobies like me. I definitely recommend this place if you want to practice BBJ.

My family and I (my Wife, 12 year old son and 5 year old daughter) have been going to 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu for a few months now, and we have absolutely fallen in love with it. They have classes for every skill level (including youth wrestling and Muay Thai). Thst being said, I'm most impressed with the coaching staff. Every instructor I have had in a class has been very knowledgeable, patient and you can tell they really want to help you improve. Sensei Derek Stewart is as legit as they come, and like the rest of his staff, is incredibly nice and encouraging. If you are considering learning a martial art come try the free trial and I'm sure you will want to come back. Even though we are newer students, we feel like we are a part of a family there. I find myself counting down the hours until I get to go back to class. For a long time, I kept putting off signing up (I'll wait until I get in better shape so I don't embarrass myself, I'll wait until I'm not so busy and so on) but I finally told myself I just need to jump in, and I am so glad I did. I highly recommend trying it out, I've really fallen in love with it, I can't imagine how fun it will be once I actually know what I'm doing! I almost forgot... As a huge personal bonus, I have already lost almost 10 lbs!
