Great place and really nice staff
This place Is fabulous! Highly highly recommended!
I could give this place 0 stars I would, that's what they deserve. My 4 year old daughter went here for 6 months and everything was going ok, she didn't do a whole lot they repeated the same thing every week. The last day she went here, I dropped her off so I could take my son to soccer practice, when I returned...2 min. Before class was supposed to be out, she was know were to be found. I found the teacher and asked were my daughter was since she was responsible for her and all she said was I don't know and wouldn't even help me look for her! I got the owner and she was super calm unlike me I'm freaking out because my 4 year old is missing! She said oh well if we don't find her we have cameras. Another mom there started to help look and found my daughter, all alone 3 blocks away past Howard's pizza! Someone called the cops because they saw her walking alone. When I talked to the cops the owner was there with me and didn't even let me talk! She made it seem like it was my daughter's fault for leaving, when it was the gymnastics place responsibility to watch my child until they are released to a parent! This was a class of 3 and 4 year old and she just let them go without a parent! I would not recommend this place to anyone! If you love your child and want them to be in a safe place this is not the place for your child! Please don't ever trust these people with your kids!
The owner kept over charging me for rumble bugs which is $40 a month.... she refused to give me my $60 she charged me for my daughter not being there.... very inconsistent..... very rude.....

My 6 year old daughter went here for 8-10 months and learned absolutely nothing, even when I increased her to 2 days a week... when I saw she wasn't improving at all I tried to voice my concerns and they just gave me a few pictures of what I need to work on with her at home. Well I have no gymnastics experience so I have absolutely no idea how to teach her based on a photo... so I turned to YouTube which helped a bit but within a few months she still had barely any improvement still despite practicing a ton at home. I felt like they would barely give direction in class, she would be jumping on the trampoline not doing what she was suppose to but no one would correct her or redirect her on the proper way to do things. If she was doing something wrong or had terrible form they wouldn't tell her and show her the proper way again. I felt like we were paying $90 a month for her to dink around for an hour. Finally she was getting bored and not enjoying it anymore. It felt like a free for all for the beginners and younger students. Although I do admit It seemed like a very good education for older more advanced students since the parents area is in a spot where close to the more advanced classses, which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Anyway I switched my daughter to cheerleading and in just TWO CLASSES she can now do a handstand, pretty good cartwheels and roundoffs, her bridge is now flawless and she's very close to doing a unassisted back handspring. She could only do a wall handstand when we left GFGA and in two sessions she had excelled so much because all she needed was more direction and teaching environment that will correct them if they are doing it wrong... which tells me there was a the lack of education at this GFGA. Save you're money unless your child is an already trained gymnast.
To me, gymnastics is a spectator sport but they don't accommodate spectators. They put on a cute little showcase once a year but it's frustrating b/c the way the seating is arranged, it's really hard to see anywhere but the floor. They have the tall beams in front of the low beams & then the bars behind that. I'd be nice if they had seating spread out throughout the gym. What's worse is recently they took the chairs for the gymnasts families out of the gym all together. They no longer let you sit in there & watch your kid - you know, the one you're paying for. They say that since they installed a TV & cameras that you can watch from the other room but there's 8 screens on the one TV that's mounted high on a wall & the cameras angles are wack. Your kid looks like an ant, if you can even tell it's your kid, so it's impossible to actually watch them & see how they're progressing. So they went from bad to worse in that area. For families that drop their kids & go I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem.
I love the facility (other than it reeks of nail polish remover) & the fact that most of the teachers seem to be young gymnasts themselves. For that, they get 3 stars.
I've had some communication issues in the past w/ management but as long as you set up autopayments & you don't have to any questions or concerns then it's fine. We had our daughter's birthday party there a year & a half ago & while the party was great, setting it up & getting my questions answered was a headache.
We will be putting our daughter in an activity that we can be a part of.
