This place has been a real blessing for my 5 year old. He loves it very much. One year ago he was shy and timid, but now he's got confidence and a no-quit attitude. I'm so very proud of the things he's done here and looking forward to the things ahead.

We loved our experience at K5 Academy of Martial Arts on Sunshine. The Lane family is super kind, committed to their students' growth and success, awesome at training kids in respect and proper self-defense while NOT advocating fighting whatsoever. We didn't stay beyond the six-week promotion, but I would absolutely consider this being a regular part of my boys' education in the future. Highly recommended.

Mr Lane is an excellent martial arts teacher. Our daughter is excelling in Kenpo 5.0 and her confidence has really grown. She has developed some mad karate skills but it's more than that. Mr Lane has helped our daughter make, work towards and complete goals, build maturity, learn from her mistakes and become a role model. We love the Lanes and recommend their studio to all of our friends.

A perfect mix of fun and discipline! My son has gained more than just knowledge of kenpo, he now has a strong male role model and confidence about handling real-life situations. Mr Lane's goals for the kids are attainable and achievements are highly celebrated. We consider the Lane's a part of our family!

Micah was 4 and Mr Lane's first student. He is now 9 and an Advanced Blue Belt. I am very thankful for all Mr Lane has done. Micah and Mr Lane have a special bond.

Our daughter has gained confidence and is learning self discipline. The Lanes are wonderful people who care about their families. They keep a good clean dojo!

Mr. Lane is amazing at what he does. I have a head-strong 5 year old, who has a hard time concentrating b/c his mind goes about 100 mph. Mr. Lane was able to get my son to not only focus, but gain confidence in his abilities. Mr. Lane is also wonderful at developing a bond with the kids he instructs so that they know they can trust him and rely on him. That's so important in a child's life, even from a strong family environment -- the more adults that pour into them positively, the better. And Mr. Lane certainly does that!
Mr. Lane is an excellent instructor and has been very welcoming to my family. We searched high and low for schools in the area. Happy to say we have found the best for us!
Words can't describe how happy I am that we found Mr. Lane and Jeff Speakman's Kenpo 5.0. Currently my seven-year-old son and four-year-old daughter are students. Mr. Lane has had such a positive impact on their lives. They are not only getting a workout , but they are learning to be respectful to others, self control, self defense , building their confidence, and how to work hard to achieve goals, all while having fun. I recommend 100%!
