Impressed!
Matt (the owner) is absolutely fantastic. Great location, plenty of restaurants for a post-workout snack. Ultra-CLEAN. Excellent variety of equipment. Spacious layout. Respectful members. Reliable WiFi. Everything you could ask for and more. I can't wait for them to re-open.
Friendly Atmosphere and they work with you towards your goal. I have personally refereed two friends here and working on my third friend to join as well.
Beautiful gym and great facility I love the new addition!
Great trainers who are willing to take the time to help meet your goals. Friendly atmosphere. As well as being 24 hours.
Great place great employees and all around good vibe
After touring a few Rochester fitness establishments, I sent an e-mail of interest to Anytime Fitness which was promptly responded to. I just finished my first week of membership and am amazed at how knowledgeable and kind the staff are! I appreciate the clean environment and quality of equipment. Trystin reviewed a workout plan with me that was challenging and effective.
Nice clean facility. Never terribly crowded. Good mix and functional equipment
Anytime Fitness has an awesome atmosphere. They also have new equipment that I've never seen in an Anytime Fitness before and even equipment none of my other gyms have had. I always get a great workout in, even at 6pm when I typically try to avoid gyms!

Anytime fitness has great facilities and awesome staff that are very willing to help. I love how clean everything is and the pride the team at Anytime takes in their gym and helping members. I would recommend this gym to anyone looking for personal training or just a great clean workout environment.

This gym is great. I was a member of another gym in town that I did not like the atmosphere of. I went into anytime fitness and loved it. The owner, Matt, was amazingly kind; no one bothers you while you're trying to work out, and the staff is super nice and welcoming. If you're looking for a great gym with down to earth staff that is not overwhelming or restrictive, this is the gym for you!

Anytime Fitness is an exceptional place to workout. The 24/7 access alone sets this place apart from other establishments in the rochester area. Adding to that the free weight set up, and the encouraging decor and staff. I was apprehensive to say the least about joining. The management let me stew on the pros and cons for a couple months without pressuring me to "buy" a membership. I manage a restaurante, and gave a family so my gym time is precious, and sporadic to put it lightly. I like that I can come and go anytime day or night. Another review mentions a "sketchy" "vulnerable" atmosphere. I'd just like to say that's far from accurate. The doors are locked at all times when there are no staff on duty, and the parking lot is pretty much a baseball field at night. I'm glad I joined.

Fantastic gym with great staff that really care about you.
Literally the nicest Anytime I have ever been in. Good lifting setup and there's rarely a wait for a bench/machine.

Well put together space with all the weightlifting essentials in here with a few unique pieces. A bit crowded during peak weekday evening hours but otherwise not that busy in general. Definitely a standout gym in the Rochester area with significant pros: very adequate set of lifting equipment (3 power racks), dumbbells up to 100 lbs, 24 hour access, middle-range pricing but many locations nationwide, extremely clean and new.
The location though at late night hours feels a bit sketch if you want to take advantage of the 24 hour access, which I originally planned to. Considering there's no staff past certain evening hours, late night hours by yourself feels pretty vulnerable.
--- Looks like they removed two planned locations @ US-52 and 12th St SW and US-52 and 37th St NW that were mentioned earlier from their website listings. My guess is that they no longer plan on constructing those but I have not asked to confirm.
--- This is the only 24 hour gym other than Fitness Evolution, St. Mary's DAHLC and Planet Fitness in the area. St. Mary's DAHLC with their renovations last fall have made it a better option for weightlifting than Anytime Fitness, not to mention the additional access to Downtown DAHLC that comes with your membership.
The workers and facility is top of the line. Friendly and positive environment.

Update: I'm not a fan of their 45 degree leg press, which admittedly feels like a drawback for weightlifting workouts here. The way that the safety bars are built, I either have to go mid-rep to lock it up or full extension with a little extra ROM by rounding my back. The fact that the seat only has two positions that it can be locked in that only afford a small change in seat angle sadly decreases the range of body heights that can comfortably use this press.

This is the only 24 hour gym other than Fitness Evolution, St. Mary's DAHLC and Planet Fitness in the area and remains the best option for weightlifters who want access at all hours of the day.
Been to dozens of Anytimes all over MN and WI and this is easily the best one I've been to. Only a couple in the Madison area come close. It's a huge space with all top of the line equipment and very clean. Only thing I think they're currently missing is a curling machine.

Decided to join this gym out of the blue and I am so glad that I did! The staff are amazing and will do anything to help you out! Also the equipment is amazing :) Best gym I have ever been too, hands down!
By far the nicest anytime fitness I have ever been to.
Brand new this place is huge and has top of the line equipment. I've only seen a couple Anytimes but this is the nicest and one of the nicest gyms I've seen in general.
Well put together space with all the weightlifting essentials in here with a few unique pieces. Two power racks for deadlifts/squats in the main lifting area, full set of dumbbells with no duplicates that go into the 100s, basic plate-stacked lever machines, leg press, quad station cable complex with pull up bar, although I don't remember if I saw seated row/lat pulldown stations in it, a smith machine, kettlebell set, medicine balls/slam balls, stretching/general free space area, basic cardio machines. There's also a nice side room that contains another complex that has monkey bars (very uncommon piece of equipment), a jumping platform, tricep dip, as well as another power rack. So amazingly, three power racks in this compact gym. Definitely a standout gym in the Rochester area with significant pros (very adequate set of lifting equipment, 24 hour access, medium ranged pricing but many locations nationwide, extremely clean and new but otherwise no frills) compared to many of the other gyms when considering their overall package. Come on Rochester, when an Anytime Fitness offers a better overall package than most gyms in the city, you need to step up your gym game.
Was told they possibly plan on adding some hammer strength machines and a Jacob's Ladder.
According to this membership counselor, two new Anytime Fitness locations to be opened next year in the Fall/Late Summer @ US-52 and 12th St SW and US-52 and 37th St NW.
