Definitely a 5 start everything! Best trainers I have ever worked with!!! Amazing people amazing owners! Helped me with everything I asked and worked with my schedule. :] Definitely would recommend!
Multiple Hand Sanitizer locations and cleaning towel locations are out of product. This is unacceptable considering the pandemic. I would like to ensure I am not transferring anything to other members unintentionally but I am unable to properly clean my machines when I am done using them.
This is a great gym when it isn't busy. It has top end weight equipment, a pool, sauna, and a lot of cardio equipment. Unfortunately at peak hours it is so busy that it can be difficult to find a treadmill to run on which is why it lost some stars in this review. Overall it's a fine gym though as most Lifetimes are.
John Small was probably the best admissions/gym sales reps I have ever worked with in the initial process of joining a club. He was extremely professional, thorough, and knowledgeable on everything Lifetime. I went into the process with a lot of concerns regarding how to cancel(which you need to do in person at the club or via certified mail) with a month notice; as well as questions regarding my health insurance discount. More than anything I was blown away by how empathetic he was in his approach to introducing me to the classes, b-ball games, and overall strategy to get into the gym more often and enjoy my time there.
Would recommend!
Great facility, lots of equipment options and classes. Awesome trainer and instructors. Just a complaint that the Flow Guided (Yoga) classes on Tuesdays evenings should not have to deal with the noise from the Life Barre class going on in the studio next door. Flow Guided classes are meant to be relaxing, but the music from the other class is extremely disrupting. Staff should take an action on this.
I work out at a few different locations but this one is always hotter than heck. I am hot before I even start working out. Turn the AC down please. Parking is always scarce too.

The staff here is so pleasant and helpful! The facility is always clean and the classes are so convenient. The parking does get full but that is completely understandable as it is such a busy gym!

Each time that I go to the facility, I have such a nice experience! The front desk is always greeting me with a smile and make me feel welcomed. Christopher Smith is also really helpful and informative when I wanted to open a membership. Lifetime Fitness also has a great indoor and outdoor pool that is family friendly and an amazing place to go! Recently I went to a barbell strength class that was taught by Shelley and I had such a fun time! The class was challenging but so beneficial! I would recommend going to any of the class with Shelley, you will have a great time!

Not a bad facility, they keep it clean. My issue is that people are parking on snowbanks because all of the parking is full and the sales staff is still signing up new members. That coupled with personal trainers holding several machines at a time for clients makes it hard to work out without wasting a lot of time. Overall, I'd switch very fast if another decent gym opened up in town.

Honestly Shawn F. Is the greatest! Plus I like a lot of the other staff. The community at this location is great! I enjoy talking with the people and most are friendly while others are more interested in taking on other personas less friendly. I've been a member for years you'll enjoy this massive location and the people in it.
Great amount of classes and activities. Staff is friendly. The drawback is the pool is taken by swim teams during the most desirable times, and the weight room isn't "busy" after work, it's overcrowded.
I love the weight lifting selection. This Lifetime has a large variety of weights and machines. I feel like I rarely have to wait for the machine I want to use.

I've been coming to the Life Time Fitness Plymouth MN location for about a year now whenever I'm up here for work. I've belonged to a number of gyms in my lifetime, and though I am on a pay-as-I-go basis with this location, it is possibly the nicest and most well-kept gym I've frequented. First off, the facility is enormous - huge swimming pools, salon, quick service restaurant, treadmills and ellipticals as far as the eye can see (and they're all in service and very well maintained!) - and the staff does a great job of keeping the place meticulously clean. The men's locker room is pristine and loaded with amenities. The customer service is consistently good, but one person in particular stands out - Trevin W., one of the account managers, is particularly kind, outgoing, and always willing to go the extra mile. All in all, the Plymouth Life Time Fitness is a club I would highly recommend.
The reason why I give this a 1 out of 5 is because of the weekend open gym hours. I know that many other b-ball players will disagree as well as I do because constantly one half is having birthday parties and the other half is having some soft of class. They need to at least just make a extra court for those who came to the basketball court to play basketball not watch little kids eat pizza and jump around in bouncy house. Please do something about this lifetime if been going here a while and now your just disappointing me. :(
Worst gym I've ever been a member at. They keep reserving more and more equipment and space taking away from the base members who support the gym year around. They just took out approximately 20 fitness machines to add space to their group training. They added these stupid jumping boxes. Very few use those boxes and most who do are very young. Very member unfriendly gym with stop signs and reserved signed on way to much equipment. We've had 2 big membership price increases and we end up with less space and equipment. They went from 52 tread mills down to 46, then when the stop signs go into effect, that leaves 34 tread mills for the lowly base members who only pay $75 per month. If you want to use a bench press or squat rack, half will be missing bars for they are used in their group fitness. Total joke and very member unfriendly. I'll be dropping my membership
Really enjoy my time here. I drive 30 minutes to go here because the facilities are elite. I've used snap, 24 hour, LA fitness and the new U of M facilities and this lifetime, other than the U, has some of the best equipment I've used and the best array off options. Staff is cordial. Place is always clean. Pools are excellent.
The classes and facilities are fantastic. However, it actually surprises me on a weekly basis how appalling the customer service is. For $200/month for a family of 4, I expect the staff to be at least moderately responsive and helpful. They never cease to amaze me with their unwillingness to even try to help customers.
ok so i was at lifetime and I was with a friend who is not a member, but i had 12 guest passes. And the issue that I have with this lifetime is that today she wasn't allowed in but yesterday she was. And i clearly had enough passes to let her in. I am very dissapointed because we were both waiting there for an hour and a half, because our ride wasnt there, doing nothing because one of the workers wouldnt let her in. very very poor service and very disappointed.
One of the best gyms in the area. The remodel added a lot of "cross-fit" style workouts and squat racks. It's a huge gym and the high ceilings are nice, it doesn't make it seem like you are working out in a box.
It does get crowded at times, as with any gym, so I make sure to consider what time of day I go there. The staff is typically very friendly and helpful.
Karl, one of the personal trainers, was super nice and helpful. Showed me a bunch of workouts to do, even when I wasn't paying for the training service. I recommended him to my friends that wanted to use a trainer. They have had great results and service.
