Another really nice 'gold' level club, lots of amenities. The two-level locker room seems weird, but maybe it's because I don't use the tennis facilities on the lower level. Pool is small, but I like the layout of the weight/machine area and the fitness studios are nice. My only complaint is that they seem to do a lot of employee meetings and presentations in the 'yoga' fitness studio, I've been kicked out multiple times while working out or practicing on my own - do they not have an employee meeting space at this location?
There is so much to do. So many different ways to get healthy and stay in shape.
Good place overall - lots of cardio equipment, racquetball, tennis, steam rooms, sauna, pool, group classes, on and on. Free parking, can rent lockers which I appreciate and is not available in all locations.
Something that bothers me about Lifetime in general is if you ask for help or advice, the response usually comes in the form of a pitch for a $100+ extra/mo group class. I think they might have more success with that sort of thing if they help someone get into a habit with what is already available first.
Been a really good place for me. The equipment is all there and motivates me to work harder during my workout. Staff has been friendly.
Want to say a big thank you to Mitchell in the LT Cafe for making my day. He made me a shake at 9:10pm when they were closed. He could have went home instead he made me a best shake I ever had! Thanks again Mitchell!! It shows the do care about members.
Pretty great and the people are great but their pool is the worst compared to others. It's not even close to regulation length.
I love this gym because of the awesome free classes that they offer. Such a wide variety of focused fitness options including strength, aerobic and yoga. They also offer a group weight loss program a few times a year that are super affordable and include training sessions with a personal trainer. They do a good job of keeping it clean. My only complaint is that they charge a $15/month fee to freeze your membership over the summer.
I wouldn't recommend this gym. Good luck cancelling membership when you want to as well, they give you the run around in an effort to steal an extra 3 months of membership dues by pulling the "inability to cancel scam" on consumers.
Lastly, the cleaning staff in womans locker room spends more time looking in the mirror checking herself out than she does cleaning resulting in buildup mildew in showers which ultimately was one of my main reasons for cancelling.

Popular classes are very crowded. Don't bother trying to show up early - they just keep cramming people in throughout the entire class. The customer service is also an unpleasant experience and full of red tape. Glad to have finally jumped through enough hoops to get my membership cancelled.

The photos are misleading. I dont see these facilities at this location. It is a shame that for such a large location, their restrooms and showers are tiny. The shower room is much smaller and shower curtains would work much better than the bulky glass doors. The shower heads are installed way too high. There is alway a puddle in the steam room due to how the floor was made. Lifetime fitness beats La fitness for cleanliness but the machines at this Lifetime fitness are not updated and the reddish brown cushions put people in relaxing mood instead of motivating them to work out more.

From my experience this gym is pretty clean compared to others I have been to. I don't generally go at peek times so may be it is different the. I am greeted by very polite people at the door. The gym has all the amenities I enjoy. There is enough equipment so I have not had to wait very long to get my reps in. When I have had questions, they have been answered. I am not sure why there are all the bad reviews. Only complaint is the trainers are pretty expensive, though I only did my free session. Overall happy with my experience here. I would give 5 stars but I never do....

Wondering when the canned replies by LFT will stop and they will actually start actually addressing all of the issues here.
The two Bloomington locations are by far the worst I have been to. And I've been to a lot (Founding member)

My only complaint is the women's rest room. The walls on the stalls and the floors are pretty bad, as well as the area by the water cooler. I know ladies are blow drying their hair and it will get dirty, but for the cost of our member ship I feel that it should be given the constant attention necessary for it to stay clean.
equipment for workout 4 stars- front desk workers 4 Stars no problem with that - men locker is better then it used to be in cleaning part so I raised the stars although I don't used the sauna I noticed that part isnt clean :( they do however keep the steam and shower cleaner then before- I have seen guys spit on the floor in the sauna and it doesn't seem to be cleaned up.
I just moved to the area and switched locations from Plymouth to Bloomington South. Nobody showed us where anything is, so we were lost 80% of the time. I wanted to sit in the hot tub, but they were down for maintenance... So I was going to use the Eucalyptus sauna instead... But there was somebody's FECES smeared all over the floor and the bench... I was mortified. I'll never go there again, I'm going to have to find a better, cleaner location.
Not happy with customer service at the Bloomington location. I cancelled my membership due to their rudeness, then they wouldn't let me out of my contract until they could steal another monthly payment of $290 from me.
1/2 star is what they deserve, a whole star is too high for this organization
