During my friend's and my first visit, Stephanie took time to explain the process and goals of OTF, show us around the lobby, and make us feel welcome. The facility was very clean and well-equipped with nice bathrooms, showers, and lockers. We were welcomed into the studio to meet the instructor and find our assigned stations before the other members. Jolie, our instructor, was absolutely amazing. She took time to show us each area of the studio, explain what information we could find on the screens, set individualized goals with us, and ask about any injuries and restrictions. Having never used a rower, she showed me how to do everything, from turning it on, to strapping in my feet, to then getting my feet back out. As a new visitor, she really did an excellent job of taking away some of that "fear of the unknown." After we felt comfortable and ready to begin, she brought the rest of the class in and the workout began quickly. From the start, we felt like we had enough knowledge to participate appropriately in the class. Jolie demonstrated each exercise at the weight station, but also having videos playing on the screen with a model and number of reps was very helpful. Jolie was really encouraging and I was so impressed that she knew every member's name. By the end of the class, I felt like I had accomplished a great, efficient workout and knew I would be returning. I will say that from an "outsider" viewpoint, OTF was somewhat intimidating. Now after trying my first class, I'm so happy that I stepped out of my comfort zone (and that my best friend was willing to come along) because we've both signed up for memberships.Thank you for creating a supportive environment!
Always a great workout! I would never accomplish these workouts if I did it alone at the gym.

Amazing coaches, great workouts! They're exhausting but you notice a difference in what you can lift pretty quickly. Excellent cardio.
I liked the added challenge that the class brought to my workout routine. It is a completely different type of environment. Cathie was motivating and full of positive energy that continued to push me throughout the class.
This was only my second time sweating it out with Orangetheory, but I'm already a believer! The Ann Arbor team was fantastic in getting me all set up and accommodating my recent marathon-induced injuries by using the handy dandy strider. Looking forward to taking more classes at the location opening up in my hometown!

I love the variety of the workouts and knowing that I will get a good running/walking and weight workout with each class!
I've been going about 4 months now (2x/week). It was a bit scary at first (thinking that at age 49 and not in incredible shape) that I would be competing with 20 something year olds. I see all ages and abilities there. They do a GREAT job to let everyone get the workout that is right for them. I have noticed results in speed and endurance. I recommend giving it a try.

The class was so entertained, we were moving all the time , coach Cathie is super nice and friendly. She helped me many times to improve my posture and the technique. I will attend wednesdays class with her. All the equipment is clean and pretty new.

I love the variation between the workouts day to day, it keeps me engaged and I look forward to finding out what I'll be doing when I come in. I also really appreciate the trainers; they do a great job explaining and modeling the weightlifting exercises and provide motivation on the treadmill. Days I workout at Orangetheory are my favorite days of the week.

Love OT! Great music and motivating instructors make the workout go by so quick! I also love the workout report that is emailed to me right away.

I loved that the workout was done in intervals, and there was a mix of cardio and weight training. It definitely helps to have a group of people working out together, that way I felt motivated to continue exercising even when I was tired, as I would have given up at that point if I was alone. The coach Cathie was great, and even with so many people I felt like I was given personal training! I have encouraged my friends and colleagues to try a session out at Orange theory!

I would never workout as hard as I do at OTF if I was on my own. I appreciate the feedback from the monitors and instructor. The staff are very positive and the whole experience is uplifting. The staff at the front desk remembered my name even on my 2nd class. I really appreciate these workouts each week.
Always different, always challenging, fun people (both staff and class members), usually good music. Efficient use of time (calories burned/hour), conveniently located, easy to schedule classes (although the app could use some work). Overall positive experience.
