Spacious with many machines and a nice women's area that I use primarily. Classes are fun, and the instructors are passionate about what they do.

I told u I got an accident and u tel me u can't cancel my membership after spending 2 years no attendance.
And called u for about a 20 minute.
And the best u can tel me u can't help on phone .
It doesn't seem fair to me

Good place for a no frills work out. Gets crowded when you expect it to but otherwise has a wide array of machines and weights separated nicely. Loses a star since many of the TV's on the machines clearly don't work.

You can't simply cancel your membership. The "No Commitment" offer is a SCAM. Although you will call the main office and send them the letter they ask you to, you will get a call from a collections agency a few months later harassing you for money and they will attempt to damage your credit.

I did some research, and it turns out the owner of the gym also own the collection agency. Your average little-man turned greedy capitalist to exact revenge on the world. Turns out that Work Out World is a world built by him to work out his issues in a very unhealthy way.

On the other hand, this gym is a dump. No one cleans after themselves here. I caught 3 different viruses on three separate visits after working out.

Conclusion, owners and their collection agency are dirty-filthy CROOKS; aka "SCUM".

If you respect yourself, don't work out here.

I love coming to the wow and the most amazing thing about it, is the comfort and the friendliness that the staff offers. Anisha is amazing the level of respect, and her humor is a great thing to witness before a hard work out.

I have been a member of multiple gyms throughout Massachusetts due to moving around and this is by far the WORST gym I have ever encountered. The management does not keep the gym tidy, the staff sit around on their phones all day, and management/corporate are incredibly unprofessional and rude when THEY make huge financial mistakes.

I canceled my auto-renew personal training contract after three months because it was initially a 3-month package, told the trainer from the very beginning to have it canceled after the third month. Made it very clear I loved the trainer but wanted to catch up on all my sessions. Not only was I charged $500 twice, but was charged two overdraft fees in this account totalling $1100! The Director of PT handled this with the most disrespectful and rude comments through email. Made it sound like he had to do so much work to fix the issue, blamed his trainers for the mistake, didn't address anything I detailed out for him in the emails I sent over, and ultimately ignored the issue by asking why I didn't want to continue with his trainer... which is not even the case.

The level of incompetence and terrible customer service is disgusting. I have shown all my friends family and coworkers who go to WOW the emails and told them my experience and no all of them are going to cancel their memberships and find a new gym.

Would never recommend this gym unless there were HUGE changes made to their staff and facility.

Babysitting fee per person when you sign up as a family? Makes not sense! Maybe per child would make more sense. When my husband and I signed up the lady at the front desk told us that it was one babysitting fee per family. My husband and I always come together to the gym so there was never a problem. Today I decided to come alone to the gym and they wouldn't take my daughter because the babysitting wasn't under my name. Really?!! Perhaps charging per child would make more sense. Then I called the manager and the answer I got from him was "Sorry that's the company policy and we can't take your daughter" really?! #WorstCustomerServiceEver #NotComingBack #WorkOutWorld #Waltham

A great ace to work out with all the essentials. Also free tanning. Equiptment is clean and locker room. Is clean. Staff could use some social skills training and try to be somewhat enthusiastic though. Otherwise great place. Go here 6 days a week to train!

the three starts here are for the customer service from everyone at the front- but the manager. She walked away from me with what looked like a friend to the back in mid transaction. She was short, defensive, and could not even finish answering some simple questions about a yearly ledger and my family account. Then when someone came in for there shift- she took her jacket off right away, said one second and, rushed back after punching in to start all over with helping me to what i came in to do. Just to be helpful. Her name was Samantha- I would say too bad the manager is a little dissmissive and rude while everyone else is so happy, helpful and pleseant- from the front desk to memberships. if I only had an encounter with the manager that day- this review would be zero stars.. IF I never had an interaction with the manager it would be 5.- The front desk staff should not be more accommodating than the person in charge- regardless if her friend comes in or not- ESpecially when you are talking to someone who is about to cancel. That to me would be the first reason to NOT just walk away like we were not just talking. Samantha displayed leadership characteristics and that should be noticed just as much as the lack of customer service from the manager/person in charge.

It's a decent gym for the price. Major con is the atmosphere in general. No one knows how to put their plates back on the racks so you never know when someone is done with equipment. The music is by far the worst I've ever suffered through in any gym, and I've been to a good amount of gyms.

I wanted to join this place but was told a member service rep would be there at 8am and no one else could help me sign up. I showed up at 8:15am on Friday to join. No one scheduled that day to do member services. The guy at the desk couldn't help me. So I left disappointed. After reading these reviews I remember why I cancelled from this place a few years ago. One weekend this place didn't open at the time stated. People were standing outside waiting. Not great service then or now. Will not join.

Good gym, great hours. Do not expect anything beyond what $10 a month will give you, but this branch offers a lot of good stuff compared to other gyms:
- A rowing machine with a working progress monitor.
- Good stair machines.
- Dedicated classroom and weightlifting space.

A lot of people come to this gym around 3:00 - 8:00 PM. Attendance is high, but come before or after then to get some access to most of the cardio machines.

This is the worse place to go to they are.racist I look a friend with me the guy wanted to become member but the people at the front desk treated him really bad just because he's foreigner they treated worse than a dog plus before we sign contract they say every 2 years we have to renew but that's not want happens when you read the contract its a month to month so never expires they keep charging you ,to cancel is really hard you have to call 888 number only on bussines day send them a form and with and see if they did taken you out the contract Lu's they send charge on your account for no reason so be advised don't get trapped into this big scamm or be really frustrated like me

Better dont sign up for a membership here because just in case if you wanted to cancel it, they wouldnt cancel it until you show up in person and all they do is print a paper and you have to call someone else send this paper to cancel it and dont forget, you pay for an extra month. Regular equipment nothing so impressive. And i had the worst experience with them.

My Experience:

I called Work Out World (WoW) and asked them if they give personal fitness training sessions and they said they have some one inhouse who does those sessions. Then when i came in, they made me sign up for both personal fitness training sessions and gym membership both seperately. 10 days later WoW kicked the professional fitness training company with NO NOTICE to the customers while signing up nor after. Now when I go and ask for refund, WoW says they are not associated with those trainers they suggested and asked me to cancel with that trainer company itself and say that they dont hold any responsibility because WoW didnt solicit me to sign up for those sessions. The training company i signed up for have a new training location which is like 20 min away from my place(I dont have a car btw) and they just gave me 2 options either to continue in the new location or cancel the agreement with just 25% refund which is like I lose around $1000. WoW is nowhere helping me here even after they suggested the training company, noone is refunding me completely and i am forced to go to the new place just to not waste my money. You decide now if you ever want to sign up for any sessions with WoW.
