Great atmosphere. Other guests are always polite. Staff is friendly and helpful.

A decent gym for beginners and intermediate folks. Not a judgement free zone for anyone benching 315+ that doesn't grunt. I guess anything above 200 lbs is intimidating to some people. Definitely not a place for ANYONE to meet their fitness goals.

I found Planet Fitness to be an awesome place. The price is right, it is super convenient, and it is super clean because they are constantly cleaning. The staff is member focused and friendly no matter what time you go in to workout. They always make you feel welcomed and happy to see you. One of the best parts are the fitness training classes. Isaac is a super star with his classes. He is patient and aware. He works with you to your ability and challenges you even with the group work outs. In the past year I am stronger but more importantly more confident. One of my favorite things about the gym is the fitness community that I wasn't expecting to find. In every class the group you are with is supportive and cheering for you to do your best. There is no judgement just accolades for pushing and trying your hardest. I am happy to be on this fitness journey here.

Its a nice and new gym with new equipment...kinda sad that they eliminated the free weight bench and squat racks though, were the only ones around with actual free weights...wish they had a scale in the locker rooms like they did at the old location...locker rooms are clean, but they got these weird overhead shower heads hanging from the ceiling. Overall a nice place though.

I paid for my membership only to go in a few days later to b told my membership was canceled and my payment was applied to n old account that the billing information on the account they applied my payment to is under a completely different person's name same last name different first name, I go into gym then I get told that I try to explain to them I've never had a membership at that gym, n that my membership would not b reinstated nor would they return my money and the woman working behind the counter literally tells me tough luck I simply replied i don't need to sit there n argue with that little girl that what they r doing is fraud n that I'd take it up with my bank n they r returning the funds to my account, come to find out my mom had a membership here years ago n they were double dipping in her account n she had to call over the local clubs head to get SOME of her money returned n she canceled her membership at the same time, had they bothered to look at their records they would see that the billing info they applied might payment to is not the same name as me n I had to authorization to access my mom's prior balance, or account so what they just did is fraud n apparently they have no problem stealing money from little old ladies as well, shame on this company n their corrupt business practices, I made sure to tell my bank that they canceled my membership n applied my balance to someone else's name n billing info that I never had authorization to access that account prior nor do I have authorization now to even get that "past due balance" that my recent payment got transferred n applied to, oh n while I was trying to explain this to the immature little girl behind the desk just kept cutting me off n one of her remarks was that everything on the account I just signed up for is exactly the same as the old account, let's revisit the facts the old billing info is different name than mine, n the phone numbers r different, the banking/ debit info is not only 2 different accounts it's 2 separate banks the only thing that is the same is the email address cuz my mom use to use my email address cuz she didn't even go online years ago, maybe next time review ur records instead of being straight crooks, me n my mom r not the only ones that have experienced fraudulent billing activity from this business, I suggest u watch ur bank statements carefully n make sure they r not taking money they r not entitled to, n mind u it's nearly impossible to get money returned to u especially in my mom's car they told her they could only return 3 months of double payments even tho she could prove more they gave her some bs excuse y they could only return 3 months of double charges, n the local club told me I'm not getting my money back well u can't take someone else's money n apply it to someone else's past billing info under a different name, n do it without my permission or consent, I paid for a service that's what that payment was for n if ur not gonna honor the terms of the binding contact n provide me with that service then that constitutes fraud. Plain n simple, if all the info was the same then y have i never received a bill for any past due balance to resolve b4 attempting to get a membership, I'm getting my money back n that's all that matters to me n I'll take my money n my business to a more professional business.

Love this gym I don't usually have good experience with tanning beds n sometimes find the bulbs r too old to achieve any darkening even after multiple visits, but I'm in love with quality tan I achieved just after 2 visits, I know the gym is suppose to b all about improving health but I don't see the harm in using tanning beds responsibly n infrequently it can't b any worse than being subjected to natural sun rays lol

"Judgement free zone." LOL.

At the same time they have signs that say "no lunks allowed" and they actually have a "lunk alarm" which is a big red alarm that goes off if someone is lifting heavy weights and deemed to be a "lunk" by planet fitness. This is so contradictory it's humorous.

I would give ZERO 0 STARS if it was an option!! This is hands down the WORST GYM IN AMERICA, IN MA DEFINITELY!!!! They are overpriced, prejudice, racist, and make u feel extremely uncomfortable!! They make your guests feel uncomfortable and stereotype everyone. They hate middle aged men, particularly men of color, there is no denying this FACT, furthermore they are NOT OPEN 24/7, WHAT TYPE OF GYM WOULD CLOSE@ 7 PM ON MOST PEOPLES DAYS OFF!!?? This place give me the WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER! My girlfriend and I were only there once. We canceled our membership 2 and a half months ago. Last week they still charged me their Annual Fee 39.99 twice on my card. To my surprise when I called i learned that they NEVER canceled our membership. After making me wait a week, the manage refuses to refund me and basically called me a liar that we never canceled our membership. I called their Corporate Office, and they told me sense there is no documentation that we canceled. They don't "owe" me anything. They tell me "There's no contract, no commitments". THAT IS A LIE! This location in Taunton Pretty much stole from us. They have zero sense of respect for their customers or their own policy and motto. I'm now calling my bank about this and reporting it as a fraudulent unauthorized charge and hope they will at least decency to give me my money back. Watch out for this company and its people, they are lying snakes who will take your money with zero regards to how it affects their customers.

I like the equipment, lots of variety. The staff is super friendly, helpful and welcoming. I wish their hours were longer on the weekends.

Employees here are fairly nice and helpful. I only give this location 2 stars in comparison to other PF locations. It's fairly outdated and lacks equipment vs other newer locations which have about twice the number of machines. Also the bathrooms aren't as nice. Showers drain slowly which cause pooling. Sinks look like they are falling apart and have different faucet handles on the same sink because it appears they've been band aided together. Water fountain isn't filtered and can't fill water bottles like other locations. Seems as if the owners of this location are holding out and don't want to spend money on upgrading the location.

Before you read or report this, I am not the only one who has been treated like my money is disposable.They told me i could not workout unless my balance was paid off. Then they "offered"....... "IF i pay atleast half, they could let me work out again". They accumulated by balance to be as high as it was , {$150}i paid half, they continued to collect from me , and all they did to "settle it and call it even" was refund me 19.99, a refund of one months payment and closed my account to avoid me coming down, TO AVOID ME.Completely disgusted with their customer service, clearly everyone else is too. The reviews on this gym is rediculious. Numbers dont Lie!! I wish I coukd give 0 stars. Everytime Ive been there, there are workers not working. watching sports networks, watching games , on their phones, not cleaning or doing anything. I would be embaressed if I were the owner. people have all these complaints and they DO NOTHING but sit back and charge your card WHENEVER THEY FEEL LIKE IT. IF you call corporate and discuss your issues, maybe you will get treated like a human being. They handled the situation like I am disposable. Never have been more outraged with a business. Corporate was phenomenal with assisting me. It frustrates me I had to go through corporate , for a FRANCHISE to have the issue taken more seriously. Worst PFIT location I have ever stepped foot in.

I like this gym cause they have a free weight bench and squat rack...but customer service lacks there though, one time they wouldnt let me workout there saying i owed money but wouldnt give me any details on what or why i owed...had to go to my home pf and as it turned out i owed like 5 bucks from like 6 months prior and my home gym did what this place should have done and waived the 5 bucks and let me workout

Not a 24 hour gym, but 'most' hours during the work week, and from 7AM - 7 PM on weekends. Decent facilities, a bit light on the weights.

Edit - down to one star. They refused to cancel my membership for several months, and continued to bill me after I'd moved out of the area. I cancelled in person three times!
