You couldn't have a group of people who care more or are more knowledgeable -- each coach is incredibly attuned to your current capabilities and are more than helpful in showing you various progression options (i.e. tons of personal coaching/guidance). Their programming cancels out the noise of the 'hottest trends' of the fitness world, and focuses on the basics of how the body moves, how we build strength and range of motion, etc. I would unequivocally say I've have the best personal results with them than any other regime (as well as new feats of strength that have been totally unexpected). It truly is a program that you can do at any age/ condition and adaptable for your particular goals, but challenges what you think is possible for you in the best way. The structure of how they calendar their year is incredibly well-thought out, with enough consistency to finally learn/ be able to do new things but with variety that makes you look forward to coming back week after week. The entire vibe/culture that owner Josh & each coach embody is one of community that allows Gymnasia to feel like its own safe ecosystem where different people can come together to push themselves and cheer on others. It is 5 star results without the pretentiousness of others in the market.... it is one of those 'best-kept secrets' that you want to rave about, but simultaneously keep to yourself. Literally cannot say enough good things about it -- I would highly advise anyone who is looking to make a change in how they view wellness to try G, it has been a game-changer for me!

Gymnasia's small group sessions and schedule made it really easy to consistently attend workouts that I enjoy and look forward to. Their approach to fitness has helped me reconnect again with my favorite physical activities/hobbies so I can perform better than I have in years and recover faster.

The coaching staff is great - they give you valuable feedback to ensure you are getting the most out of the various movements and exercises in each session.

Gymnasia is the best gym I've ever been to, hands down. Before becoming a member, I tried various other fitness fads, and none of them truly worked. I was literally spinning in circles at choreographed spin classes with no results. I tried barre classes where I never felt myself getting stronger or progressing, and while I absolutely loved yoga classes, they weren't helping me achieve my fitness goals.

What's different about Gymnasia is that in each class you're working towards achievable, personalized goals- with an injury prevention mindset. Little by little I noticed myself getting stronger and healthier. When I started regularly attending classes, I had a bad bout of plantar fasciitis alongside chronic ankle sprains. Walking, let alone hopping and swinging kettlebells seemed like it would be crippling. The coaches at Gymnasia worked with my physical limitations and modified exercises for me to fully participate without injuring myself.

After about 3-4 months of regular attendance, my plantar was all but gone! My feet and ankles are much stronger, and I can walk long distances without worrying about pain the next day. I've also lost a considerable amount of weight which is a nice bonus!

Not only are the workouts fantastic, but the community atmosphere is wonderful. I'm not a natural athlete, and team sports were never really my thing. I appreciate that I can work out in a group atmosphere, but go at my own pace- all the while being encouraged on by everyone else in the room.

I've now been a member for just under 7 months, and am so thrilled with my experience at this gym! I'm excited to see what I'll be able to achieve year after year.

No matter who you are or what shape you are in, if you are looking to move your fitness needles a little closer to "awesome" then you owe it to yourself to check out Gymnasium.

There are many places you can get your sweat on, but what makes Gymnasium different is that their approach is sustainable, never boring, and totally get results. There is no ego, everyone is friendly, and the work outs are a lot of fun. As we all know, reaching your fitness goals take consistency, so all of those things go a long way in keeping you motivated. This also wouldn't be a proper review about Gymnasium without mentioning the awesome and eclectic music that fuels all the work outs.

For myself personally, I was looking for a training program to take my fitness to the next level. As a professional martial arts instructor and practitioner I can say that training at Gymnasium is the best decision I ever made. All the aches and pains I suffered from years of training are gone and all my training parters comment on how much stronger and more powerful I have become since I started training here. It has also had a huge impact on how I train my own students as my knowledge about fitness and body-mechanics grow with every class.

In conclusion: Go, check it out, you won't regret it! Josh (the owner) is an all around great guy who walks his talk and has developed a great team of trainers who will be totally committed to helping you reach your goals.

Could not speak more highly of this place!! Been taking private lessons with the owner, Josh. Am 34 years old and Lt in the USMCR, and have to train smart to be able to excel at my job. Josh has an unbelievable amount of wisdom, ranging from running and lifting advice, to general training plans, and just advice on mentality. Is truly amazing the knowledge and attitude Josh has cultivated. Such a resource and blessing!!

Gymnasia is a one of a kind gym, and that's mainly in part to the genius that is Josh (the founder/owner). Gymnasia isn't a "jump on the treadmill" or "hit the weights" kind of gym; rather it's focused on a holistic blend of strength, movement, fun, balance, etc. The best way I can describe it is "post-Crossfit." These aren't workouts, but more of practice on lifelong skills of strength, balance, and flexibility. Josh is a lifelong practitioner of Kung Fu, and Gymnasia feels very much like a dojo with Josh the movement sensei. The most significant downside is the cost, but even though the workouts are group focused, the attention from the instructors feels very 1:1. While not personal training, it's pretty darn close concerning care from Josh and the other trainers.

I am such a big fan of Gymnasium. It is a really friendly and approachable atmosphere. I came to Gymnasium really strong in all the typical, run of the mill exercises. I wanted a place that would keep me progressing and help me get regular one hour workouts that worked my entire body (without me having to figure out on my own how to do that). I got much, much more than that at Gymnasium. I learned new skills, new ways of moving. I gained REAL strength and ability to move. What I mean by "REAL" is that I see this overall strength and ability to move in myself in my everyday life, in being able to do real life things outside the gym. I don't just see it in being able to test well on a particular exercise in the gym. The strength and ability to move I have acquired at Gymnasium is whole body, well rounded and multifaceted. I am continually challenged and mentally and physically engaged by the workouts at Gymnasium - even after several years there. There is a wide range of people who go here - running the gamut from the just beginning to work out people to the super in shape fitness heroes. And we all workout together. The workouts are appropriate for everyone to do at their own level and the staff and the people who workout here are super supportive of everyone, regardless of where they fall on the spectrum. I look forward to going to Gymnasium, even on days when I don't really feel like working out, because I know that a Gymnasium workout makes it all better. It is challenging but enjoyable during the workout and I leave feeling terrific and eager to return.

The Gymnasium teaches functional movement and fitness for those of us who want to move and function in the real world. There are no gimmicks to the training. The methods used have a long history of proven effectiveness.

Josh, the owner and head instructor, is a great teacher of movement and fitness, as well as being a genuinely nice person. He has created a community at the Gymnasium that is very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Particularly for newcomers and for those who are not confident in their physical abilities.

I've been involved in fitness since 1975 and I have a degree in Exercise Science, but when it comes to functional movement, my education began when I walked into the Gymnasium for the first time.
