My daughter and I moved to New Bedford recently from a small town in Maine. This move was a bit of a culture shock for us both. Not only did we move away from all of our friends and family, but we moved away from our gym as well. A gym where 20 years ago I was a team member. Shortly after our move I did some research online and found several gyms in the area. As a former gymnast, I know finding the right gym makes all the difference. From the first practice at All Ranks Academy, I could tell we made the right decision. The coaches took the time to correct several bad habits my daughter developed, that her larger gym quite honestly didn't have time to fix. This was because the number of girls in each class far outweighed the number of coaches. All Ranks has enough coaches and the right amount of students in each class to allow more time for the girls to develop and master new skills. These coaches have made my daughter and I feel welcome, and have made us feel like we've been part of this team for years. They have gone above and beyond and on several occasions have pulled my daughter aside to work directly with her on a skill she was struggling with. They brought back that fire in my daughters eyes which burnt out at her last gym. I would strongly recommend you check this gym out for yourself, rather than go by a negative comment from a website.
I have a large family and have multiple children in their gym has been like home for us. I have loved being there from the very start. I feel privileged to be able to be part of such an awesome team at ARA.
I signed my granddaughter up for a summer class. I was also very interested in the private lessons. My granddaughter has only been there for 5 weeks but has learned so much with coach Dustin. I love how he talks to the kids and runs the class. He is stern which I think is important for not only learning but keeps the class orderly so there are no injuries. I have decided to remain with this school and hope to be there for years to come. My granddaughter had her first private lesson and I loved how Dustin explained what my granddaughter needed to work on and why. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great gymnastics school and great coaching.
My daughter just started there program and seem to be very nice and reasonable people. She is excelling very quickly with the direction of the amazing coaches. I love the coach to student ratio. Good price for what you get monthly too. As long as there around we will be too.
This gym has the most amazing coaches ,owners, and gymnasts. I've never met anyone like the owners Dustin and Billie. They have hearts of gold and other coaches and the gymnasts also. My daughter who is diagnosed with selective mutism loves it and cries when she can't go. The girls as well as all the coaches including Dustin and Billie are so understanding when say she has a little incident where she feels all eyes are on her and freezes No one pressures her they'll even turn around for her to feel comfortable! Its more like family then just a gym. I don't know how ANYONE could leave a bad review about this gym or the owners. I've seen with my own eyes someone take their child out because of pure jealousy. She had a friend on a higher team and the girl was just starting and wanted to be on the higher level but literally couldn't. So the only thing I can think of is jealousy. Dustin and Billie are amazing my daughter signed up May of 2016 improved so much so fast took her out for the summer and that was the WORST mistake I could've made. We're extremely happy to be back and won't be leaving ANYTIME soon :) Thank you to Dustin and Billie for not only teaching my daughter the correct ways and her fast improvements but for also treating us like family.
