Ethos is sensational! As someone who is not naturally gifted athletically (to put it kindly), I have been blown away by the transformation in my intuitive understanding of good body movement, both in working out and in daily life. At the gym I finally "get" the mechanics of deadlifting, for example, or of Turkish getups or pushups or - well, the list goes on. And in daily life I now have an understanding of ergonomically correct movement when picking up large packages or pushing a heavy load on a wheeled cart or....
I take the group classes, and the instructors are all superb - each different in style, personality, and methods from each other. This opportunity to be coached in the same fundamental movements by different instructors provides a benefit greater than the sum of their individual parts, for the complementary approaches together help one repeatedly reach that "Oh, I get it!" moment.
Finally, both the members of the gym and the coach-instructors provide a supportive, enthusiastic environment that makes attendance a joy - not an "oh, I should do this because I know it will benefit me" kind of thing, but an "Oh, good, I have class at 6 tonight to look forward to" kind of thing. I literally can't count the number of times I have walked out of class with various members after class, each of us saying, "Wow! That was great! I'm so glad I come here!" I would never go anywhere else.
