Today was my first time going to the gym (ever!) And it wasnt nearly as bad as I had made it out to be in my head. The employee at the desk was friendly and patient, and I noticed staff members making rounds throughout the gym regularly, which helps with feelings of safety. The restroom and locker room were also beautiful and very clean!

Very nice and clean fitness center. It have all the equipment I love. My first day was with Trainer Earl. He was awesome and I felt it when I went home. I previously saw a review someone post with 1 star because someone did not clean the equipment after use. What is the big deal. You have to act is if everything isn't clean and take the responsibility to clean the equipment before and after use. So far I love this location in Towson and the staff is very nice. Thank you Earl for your knock out work out!!

All and all pretty decent. Wish it was more free weights and I miss the hot tub at La fitness. But for the money .not bad at all

Staff is always pleasant! Love planet fitness. I have lost 40 pounds in 7 months with dedication and hard work. The membership fees are cheap and reasonable. Luv it! I hope they don't change. Staff at the gym in Towson,MD is always friendly and courteous!

Good selection of equipment. Would like to see some other types of equipment to replace half dozen of the unused walking equipment.

I've only been going here for a couple of weeks but I like the gym so far. The changing rooms are clean and fresh, there's never any machines out of order and the staff is friendly. Can't really ask for more at $10/month.

Gym is clean and bright. Most of the front desk staff are friendly. My biggest issue: the staff should really consider setting the thermostat so that it is cooler. Of course when you are working out, you will get hot and sweat but if it's already warm when you walk through the doors, then it will be extremely hot, almost unbearable once you start working out. Plus, when it is crowded with others working out, that naturally creates body heat, it just makes for a miserable workout.
The gym isn't huge, but it is a decent size. However, when there are "classes" being held in the area designated for ab workouts and also the area that has the combat ropes, members doing their own workouts are forced to workout elsewhere.
Overall for the monthly price that you pay, the gym is not bad. Definitely not great, when compared to other gyms. But if you are on a budget or even if you are trying to see how a gym will fit into your lifestyle then I do think Planet Fitness is worth considering.

This planet fitness is ALWAYS clean! It also has a brighter environment as the ceilings are white and it makes everything look and feel bigger! Super awesome staff as well!! Love love love!

This facility is by far the cleanest facility i have ever been to. I travel a lot for work - and I must say I was left speechless by how clean it was.
The management team does a great job of making everyone feel comfortable and welcome!

I enjoy my workout at Planet fitness I love the Elliptical and the Stair Climber machines. Everyone is very friendly and polite, the bathrooms are clean plenty of lockers for daily use ( bring your own lock).I have never had to wait to use any of the equipment, I am a Black card member so that gives me access to the total body enhancement and assorted message beds and chairs and tanning bed. And with the Black card membership I can bring a workout buddy everytime I workout lets be real sometimes we need a friend to help us reach that goal. Planet fitness really is a no judgement zone and I love that.

Love this gym! It's definitely a judgment-free environment like the company advertises, and the atmosphere is full of good vibes from other gym attendees.
I can't say the same for the staff, unfortunately. Some of the people stationed at the check-in desk have poor customer service skills that range from awkward to downright antagonistic. But a few of the other people at front are sweet which makes up for it. Overall, I like this location. It's clean, it has good vibes, and I'm comfortable working out here.

I had been going to the YMCA for 6 years: Towson, Parkville, & 33rd St. I decided it was time to switch it up while simultaneously saving some mulah. I am so glad I did! The professional atmosphere in itself is enough to switch. Children aren't running around screaming and jumping all over the machines, college-aged kids are actually working out and not oogling each other up, and the employees are doing their jobs. I can't tell you how many times the Y's personnel were glued to their phones or laying about on the machinery. It was a bit ridiculous for the price I was paying.
Which brings me to the best thing about PF; it's a fraction of the cost! I was paying $53/mo at the Y as a single adult and that didn't include any training (I believe that's close to $100+ at the Y). There are more available group activities, but it's not worth it. They always got canceled. That and the pools, courts, climbing walls and exercise rooms were typically inundated with kids, as if it were a daycare center. But I digress.
You seriously can't beat what you're getting here for $10. Clean, cool (great air circulation), and cheap.

Great club and professional staff. Fitness trainer is also very good and knowledgeable. This is a great place be and the spa is amazing.

This is a new location. So far, I enjoy working out at this gym. The equipment operates well and other members give off positive energy. I am sure management is still working on staff development, including customer service. Some staff members need to work on engaging their customers while in the gym, accepting feedback from customers without becoming defensive, following up on what they said they were going to do, and being consistent with company procedures. Since the gym just opened about a month ago, management may want to consider scheduling a monthly staff meeting to highlight start-up successes and to address any problem areas that need improvement, including the above and staff's different interpretations of company policies. The company's policy on clothing is written vaguely and allows staff to make inconsistent judgement calls, which could make a member feel like he or she is not being treated fairly, he or she does not belong there, ....
