Adelaide is a Master Reiki Teacher. She taught and initiated me for Reiki Level I and II, and her knowledge plus sophistication as an instructor shines through in each lesson. This was the perfect environment to learn and receive attunement in, her studio is a peaceful oasis! Thank you Skye-Yoga!
I've Been seeing Adelaide for Thai massage, Reiki & Hypnosis Since July----I cannot express my gratitude enough!!! I feel so blessed to have found her after googling for Thai massage providers around town, and reading her positive reviews; I took a chance and booked with her, & am so happy that I did! For me personally it can be difficult to fully relax and extend my trust to someone whenever I am receiving body work. Adelaide's presence and space do SO much in helping foster positive mutually trusting relationship so that I can fully benefit from the work she is doing on me. She is very intuitive and good about remaining attentive to where my body is each time I see her, & I particularly appreciate that she varies her sequences each time so no session is alike the next one.

My first time doing pilates and it's wonderful . Adeline customize my session according my personal needs as she observers thoroughly my workout. Higher level of just another Yoga/Pilates places.
Cant wait to get back to New Orleans #nola to visit House of Skye Yoga ...had a wonderful experience.. they were most accommodating with my schedule..the owner was very knowledgeable and really made me feel at home ..I even left with a necklace because she has amazing hand made jewelry.

Adelaide is both an excellent and really fun teacher. She has an extensive professional background in exercise, yoga, pilates, dance, and the healing arts. I recently started pilates with her again after a month break, and it's great to be back. I feel more aligned and mentally balanced after each session. She also has a great sense of humor.
Went here for a massage to work on back/shoulder pain (I work as a bartender in the service industry) and the results were nothing short of profound.
Not only had we been able to work through some recent pain, but pain I've been dealing with for over a decade found some relief. Words can't even express how much that meant to me.
Of course, there is no magic fix and back issues is a long process but I actually feel like I'm on the road to recovery.
Beyond that, I've been inspired to learn more about Reiki work and a whole host of other Eastern traditions that I knew nothing about. This spot opened my mind up a lot, Adelaide is the best!

I was in N.O. recently & found Skye-Yoga quite by accident. The facilities are beyond efficient & Adelaide is waaaay beyond awesome!!! (next time i'm in Royal Orleans i'll make sure to go, 2x)
House of Skye is an oasis. Adelaide manages to be tough, no nonsense, and nurturing, all at the same time. The studio has everything, and the classes are small and personal.
She offers a 30-minute complimentary Reiki session for new clients, and it was incredible. I don't know what she did with my stress, which was at maximum levels when I walked in, but when I walked out, I was serene and relaxed. And I've stayed that way for 36 hours. She is a wizard, a true find, and a real asset to the New Orleans and Bywater communities.

My daughter loves the aerial yoga so much. Adelaide is a great teacher and has a special talent in the way that she works with our little one. Highly reccomend the House of Skye Yoga.
