My husband and I are visiting for a month and wanted a gym that would allow us a short term membership. We hit the jackpot when we found Anytime Fitness on Canal!! The staff are so friendly and inviting and helpful. The gym is kept spotless, the facility has everything we need. The clientele are courteous, encouraging, respectful. We are in our 60’s and love the atmosphere of this gym! We highly recommend it to everyone!! Keep moving!! ?♀️ ?️♀️

I came in to exercise at this club a few months ago and it was terrific. State of the art equipment, clean as a whistle and super friendly staff. One of the best gyms I've been too in a long time, highly recommended!

Was in the area for work for a few days and checked this one out. Fantastic gym! Spoke with the owner Adam and can tell that he really cares about the members and putting back into the gym! Great experience!

This gym rocks! We travel the country using anytime all over the place in many different states. This probably in the top 3% for cleanliness. Equipment is well kept and great layout. If you are looking for an everyday gym or traveling and need a gym, this is the place. Look forward to another visit when I come back this way.

This seems to be the most well known AF in town , but I think the lakeview and harahan locations have more equipment and space. They do have incline press machines the other locations are missing. I guess they just use the smith machine. You can do free weight incline barbell presses here unlike the other locations. Also the precour treadills are preva, so you can sync your phone to the machine to get distance info from the treadmill. I think the other locations only have the older precour treadmills. This location has a n8ce display 8n front of it that definiy attracts people.

I love this gym!!! The classes are outstanding, the equipment is easily the best of any club I've visited, it's always clean and the staff is super friendly. This is by FAR the best Anytime Fitness in New Orleans! Thank you owners and staff for transforming this location in all the right ways over the last couple of years!

Amazing staff, the best group classes I've ever attended and the gym seriously never stops improving. I could't be happier to be a member at the Canal Street location! It's FAR better than any other Anytime Fitness locations I've visited!

Love this Anytime Fitness! Great, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. Adam and Amy are awesome! Gym is always clean! Equipment is always available! Lots of classes available with great intstructors! Very upbeat and motivating gym! I highly recommend it!

Incredible gym, staff and owners, who by the way, never stop improving this fitness center! I couldn't believe my eyes when I read a 3 star review from Stephanie who was upset that it took >24 hrs to get a full refund for her FREE trial. Clearly she's upset that her scam of an awesome business didn't go exactly as planned and it was so "incontinent" for her (Hey Stephanie.... that means you pee on yourself moron!) that she's so upset that her scam took her 2-3 days to get a refund for something she used for FREE! Again, this gym ROCKS! If you experience it and do not join, you never intended to. I'm so infuriated by trash like her trying to get something for nothing as I was a former member and hated it and in the last 2 years the improvement in this gym has been nothing short of astonishing. It's now easily the best anytime fitness in the city and my favorite gym! Thank you new owners and staff for making this gym so awesome! I and MANY others appreciate you all!!!

Wasn't told that the "free trial" would cost $54. Paid for it with my debit card. Transaction went through immediately. Did the trial. Decided to return key pass and get a refund of my $54. I was told it would take 24 hours to post in my account. 24 hours later, no refund. Call the office and was told that it would take a few days to post in my account. This is was incredibly incontinent for me and I wish they had been more forthcoming about This in the first place.

I was in town for a week on a work related trip to NOLA last summer and was looking for a place to workout. Luckily, I found this Anytime Fitness branch which had great equipment, a great setup, and most importantly an extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend!!

I had a great experience at this gym, the service was top notch the equipment was clean and easily accessible, the staff was super nice and it was just over all a good vibe, when you go to the gym one of the biggest things you want to avoid is judgement and when working out here no one judges you weather you're just starting out or if you've been working out for years. The staff member josh was super helpful with finding different things i needed too.

Gym was well kept and staff was so inviting and pleasant! I visited the gym on a trip and they even took the time to suggest places to check out in the city. Would highly recommend this location!

The owner is an exceptionally ignorant and unprofessional person. He got physical with me and would not allow my service dog access or reasonable accommodations even though federal law and anytime corporate requires it. I even tried to leave the dog outside and he would not allow it. Now he has blocked my key fob from working at his location, so i am having to file a federal complaint against his gym. No other Anytime Fitness has ever given me problems.

This is without doubt one of the best gyms in New Orleans. Since this place has come under new ownership, the facility and all of the machines are in tip top shape. The gym is always clean and the equipment never stays broken for long periods of time. The front desk people are very nice. They always interact with members and make them feel comfortable. The personal training staff is very insightful and nice as well. This gym is the total package and I love working out here!
