I have been a member of the Parks Health & Fitness since Spring of this year - just moved back to NOLA last Fall after a long time. I like Parks very much for the variety of services I get there. I take yoga, zumba, and hip-hop classes (5 days total per week for these classes) and do two sessions of personal training per week. Sometimes, I just go and do an hour on the treadmill, bicycle, and/or elliptical. The classes have been especially great! Along with the two 30 minute personal training sessions with an awesome trainer (Sean), I have recovered a great deal of my coordination, strength, and cardiovascular stamina. It had been over a year prior to that since I belonged to a gym (was living out of the US) and it feels good to get fit again. Also, I have had help from my yoga class instructors that has been more beneficial than actual physical therapy for a pretty tricky back problem. I am very satisfied with Parks.
