Great place for kids. Staff was kind of sarcastic at the front desk. But still would recommend for after school activities for kids. My niece loves it.
Not a good personal experience. Did not feel comfortable there. Had a problem with a personal trainer and requested a different one. The dircector assign a different trainer after 2 months that didn't want to train me. I ended up not going to my remaining training sessions and just left. Terrible for the self confidence. They just took my money. When you cancel membership they request that you make a written request which is fair. I put my request in April for May. They let me know that I was to late to have a May disconnect which I accepted. However, when june came they charged me claiming that they weren't sure the email I used to request the cancel of membership was mine. I paid for an extra month. So in total I paid for personal training I didn't use, and was charge 2 extra months I didnt want. Also, made to feel uncomfortable there. The faclties are nice and they are maintain.
Nice facility and staff is friendly. Parking can be hard sometimes but not too bad. My only complaint is that they close at 5pm on Fridays during the winter. Not very convenient for people who work. Wasn't explained to us when we signed up.
Awesome Pool
Very nice facilities. Recently updated. Indoor pool area is awesome and so is the snack bar and outdoor pool area. It's a much nicer JCC compared to Metairie. Parking could be difficult during peak season.

This is an amazing facility. It's immaculate, very well staffed, friendly and well trained. A 5 star facility in every way.

Great staff, no juice head environment for normal people. It's not cheap but worth the price.

The JCC is truly a community center and has been a long time 'home-away-from-home' for me and my family. The Fitness Center is full of top-notch equipment and knowledgeable staff, personal trainers, and group exercise instructors. I've never felt out of place or intimidated, as I have in other gyms. It is the only fitness center uptown with a steam room, sauna, and hot tub, and let's be honest, sometimes I just want to get sweaty without actually working out ;)
The nursery school is one of the best in the city and I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to attend (we've been on the wait list since conception, pretty much -- it's THAT good).
The POOL! Guys, we live in southeast Louisiana. Having access to a pool is ESSENTIAL! The lifeguards are attentive, the pool is clean, they only allow pool toys a couple days a year, so it's adult friendly too.
They host community events, older adult programs, art classes, movies, summer camp, mini camps, sports leagues -- you name it, they've got it.
Thankful to be a part of this community.

We thank you all , from the secretaries who we contact to reserve the meeting room, to the IT person (Roy was the assigned staff on June18th) who makes sure that the electronic equipments are set and are available to help when we encounter problems.
The rooms are always clean ,comfortable and conducive for meetings.
We can't ask for a better service.
We loved it.
