Old and run down. But it's just what I need to get the job done. Been going there for 19 years. Not much has changed.
I am so glad the AC was running today (not 11/5/2019). This is the first time I get a full exercise in 7 months. Previously, I could not last through the whole session without having to leave early because of AC not running. Keep it up and running folks. Thank you.

What is the deal? Cannot even breath inside. A/C is off. Spraying disinfectant does not clear the air, it just covers the bad odor. Stop being cheap with the A/C. Now I go down to 2 stars. My wife set foot in to exercise today, she was out in few minutes.
Very low key Y. Nothing for kids to do unlike other Y's. It seems to be on subsistence. The desk staff is really friendly. However, they have confused sticking to Christian values with posting big prayers reinforcing the superiority of Jesus Christ which is not what a Y should be doing. I have been to many Y's across the country and this one is the first one that explicitly makes non-Christians seem out of place. The irony is that their most popular classes seem to be yoga.
Extremely clean and well kept. Staff very knowledgeable and friendly. Just like 'ole home week'. I love it!

This YMCA location is older and has old equipment. The staff is nice and the facility is usually not crowded. It is conveniently located and easy to access. Has an indoor pool. The only real negative is that it is old and due for an update.

They keep increasing prices and cutting back the hours open. They close at any opportunity, all holidays. Definitely not run like a business. Been a member since 1995 and considering switching gyms. Their hours are so inconvenient.
Nothing negative to say, equipment is pretty decent, and not huge crowd so you have to wait for machines. Indoor pool also a nice touch
I love all of the YMCAs in BR. I mainly go for Zumba classes but occasionally to try out another class or just use the cardio equipment or weights. The group exercise classes can get a little crowded and it gets pretty hot in the room. Get there early for a good spot and stay hydrated!
