They open late and close early on weekends 9am is to late on a sunday for me to get a workout in. Wish they had better hours
Great facilities! Indoor track, theater room, LOTS of weight machines and free weights available. My only complaint is the olave is a little run down and needs some cleaning & to be updated.
The pool area needs improvement. The facility needs to maintain cleanliness. It is ok as it is close to my house.
Great gym! The facility is nice and the employees are welcoming and helpful. The rates are very affordable as well. If you like a climate controlled place to walk or run, they have an awesome indoor track. Highly recommended!
Love this gym! Very reasonable rates and convenient hours. The walking and running track is wonderful with all glass walls. Great place to get healthy!

Although some equipment was old, it was very well kept and organized. It's a huge gym with tons of machines and even a women only section, which isn't common.

Balding white guy in the front desk is very rude and acts like he is better than everyone else walking in the gym. The gym is decent with indoor track and indoor pool. Everything seems dirty or worn and membership is slightly above average cost for a gym depending on the plan you chose. Might be cancelling my membership

Need definate work on water fountains. Ugh.... No pressure so you don't really want to try to get a drink.
Maybe a water cooler thing would be better. Jus sayin'
For what I pay this isn't a bad gym, but the maintenance needs work. LA Fitness aims for a "health club" appeal, but it's grungy and dirty on the inside. Some of the equipment is busted and the flat benches are awful - the j-hooks are canted backwards slightly.

They can't keep up with regular maintenance of equipment. Weights are a hunt some days. Roof leaks in multiple spots when it rains. Needless to say, that is not good while lifting heavy things. They place buckets and trash cans to catch it though. Can't keep soap (or a dispenser) and paper towels in the restroom. There is dried vomit that has been in the sauna for months. Sauna is always trashed with water bottles and paper towels. This is on the gym for not cleaning frequently. It's also just plain laziness by the gym goers. It could be a very nice facility if they cared about keeping it clean and fixed something from time to time. I see corporate staff in there all the time. Guess they don't know or don't care either.
Stay away from the supp shop as well. Extremely overpriced. They jacked up the prices of all the supplements and then give you 25% off. Which brings the price back down to just above what they originally were.

Very gym. Large enough to be able to work through the crowded hours for the most part. Traffic is a mess in this area.
This gym needs some TLC. Missing weights, broken or worn out apparatus... it should be nicer. People don't obey the rules, either, so weights are everywhere and trash is left out.

I love this gym. The facilities giving women the privacy to workout is what all women deserve. You definitely get what you pay for - quality AND quantity.
Great affordable place. Much better than planet fitness. Has pool, squash court, indoor track, section just for women etc.
Very clean and open gym. Pretty fancy even with there being a movie area where you can run. The staff is professional and courteous.
This place made me love the gym! I love the pool. This is the only gym that I can afford. You get a lot of services for a great price, with no contract.
Interviewed here for part time personal training position with Roger (APTD) and Ty (regional manager). Went through 3 interviews, Roger was working there for 3 months and the company trusted his judgement to hire new employees into the company. Roger needs to understand there are specific laws set in place in the commonwealth that prevent employers from asking questions such as age, marriage status, children etc. Ty, on the other hand, felt the need to re-iterate the pay schedule to me in a tone of voice that only my father can speak to me with. He also felt the need to tell me that I needed to prove myself to the company for 30 days and they were going to start a college educated, mid level experienced professional, ACSM certified exercise physiologist at $12/hr because he didnt know if I was capable of "safely" training members at LA Fitness. News flash for you Ty, there is a reason why I passed the "certified" ACSM EP-C exam, which not to mention has a 46% pass rate. I believe I am fully capable to "safely" put a client through a Training session. BTW, I don't have to, nor will I, prove myself to you or your company who offers 25 minute training sessions for $660. I respectfully declined the job offer. Good luck to you and your company, sir!
Good atmosphere nice people that work out there. The staff are awesome too but they should at all times greet all members with a smile and say "hello" and "goodbye" its just plain good customer service just to make sure the members feel welcomed...

The movie room is the best thing about this gym. The classes, equipment and locker rooms are nice as well.
Nice locker rooms and weight area and plenty of cardio equipment. The turf area is also a great place to stretch, etc. however, the upstairs area needs some work. 1/3 of the treadmills are too loud to use and many of the TVs don't work. The upstairs also lacks adequate sanitizer and paper towels to clean equipment with and it is usually 77 degrees upstairs on average during the summer. Been a member here for about 2 years and it's a pretty consistent problem.
