Love the instructors, the equipment, and the atmosphere. Great gym!
Love this place. I have been a member here for years and have always been treated with respect and felt welcome. With being a bodybuilder, I am here almost daily and I have always been very pleased with the facility and employees here. I would recommend Proof to anyone that is looking to hit their fitness goals.
These people will sell you a dream to get you in the door. They charge a maintenance fee, but half the bathroom stuff is messed up and only one water fountain works.
I chose to do month to month. When I went in to cancel my membership because I hadn't been in 3 months, I went 2 weeks before my due date to cancel keep in mind you pay a month ahead of time. Well they didn't cancel my membership immediately they charged me for another month. Do not leave your card on file with this gym because they will take money out of your account even after you have ask them not to.
If I could give less than one star I would. Customer service is TERRIBLE! I enjoyed working out there until I decided to take a break from my membership. I tried to cancel for over a month! Every time I came in the manager wasn't available or had left for the day, but she was the only person in the gym who capable of completing a membership cancellation. I called multiple times to ask when the manager was in but always conveniently left for they day when I tried to come in to cancel. They clearly just want your money here and do not care about their clients. I was planning on returning but at this point I will NEVER go back. Don't waste your time, there are plenty of better facilities in Lexington.

The gym is very nice and spotlessly clean. Having said that if you decide to join here I would try to avoid the staff at all cost. They are incredibly rude and inept. The general manager April is very rude and can get just downright mean even though the customer is bringing up valid points in a calm manner. To be honest I would look elsewhere for a gym due to the arrogant attitude of the staff.

MONEY HUNGRY PEOPLE!!! Came here to look for a decent gym with a month to month membership ended up with 12 month contract and almost sure i probably sold my soul as well. I joined in October and actually liked the gym but my problem came when ending my time here at proof. I called and informed the lady i spoke with that i wanted to cancel my membership she proceeded to tell me that i was not allowed because i was in a contract which i was not aware of (sweet talked to and tricked into signing one) and that if i wanted to cancel i would have to give a 30 day notice along with that next months payment. I was told to go in person and speak to the manager or whatever. I spoke with a man with bedazzled jeans and i told him that i was moving across town and needed to cancel due to it interfering with my kids schedule, he informed me that there was nothing he could do and that i would just have to "TOUGH IT OUT UNTIL OCTOBER) mind you its April or pay him April-Octobers months so that my account wouldn't go delinquent. How do i tell my 5 & 2 year old to tough it out. This man did not care what my reason was all he wanted was my money. Anyway there plenty of others gyms out there for lower prices ex. (Man O War Cross fit ;) Your welcome!!

While I understand most gyms make it difficult for you to cancel your membership, Proof Fitness takes the cake. My annual contract was scheduled to end at the end of January. I sent an email through their online platform regarding my desire to terminate my contract once the year was up. I asked if there were any steps that I needed to take to prevent auto-renewal. I never heard back. I called less than a week later and spoke with a female. She said she would note my account and have a manager call me back. No one called. I called a couple days later and spoke with a Manager. He said he couldn't do a cancellation over the phone and asked me to come into the gym. Making time to go to the gym was the problem in the first place! A month later, I finally made it to the gym to cancel and they informed me that I would be billed for 1 more month because I am required to give a 30 day notice. The email and the phone call I made apparently didn't count as notice. I was told you have to give your notice in person with a manager. I am beyond disappointed at the quality of customer service. I completely understand that I signed a contract, but their lack of communication and unwillingness to do anything over the phone is purposely intended to make cancelling more difficult. I started this journey in early January and am stuck paying through April. I'll rejoin a gym when life slows down and I can take advantage of a membership, but it won't be this one. I don't recommend this gym.

Top 3 gyms I've been apart of. Very clean, great staff, and class schedule is very interactive.
The atmosphere is great and what makes it better are their employees. I've been in my fair share of gyms and when it comes to a quality family gym Proof Fitness exceeds all expectations. Highly recommend!
Great gym! I had to cut my budget at the moment, but I love Proof. Great trainers, great equipment, great classes. Super clean and never intimidating, which is super nice at a gym! I will be back!
Went for a year. I am a full time student and work full time and anytime you try to cancel anything whatsoever they make you hump through hoops or this person needs to be here and you have to come in, in person. Making it super hard to cancel anything and then charge you for an entire month when you finally can cancel on the day that you would normally have to pay and then when you go in you magically don't have to actually speak eith the person that they told you over the phone that you have to talk to. You have to pay for entire month that you don't have to access to a facility nor want to use or go to because there isn't physically time in your day. Save your money and go somewhere cheaper and more friendly.
I give proof fitness 5 stars! I will have to say this club is pretty awesome. Customer service excellent and it's super clean, I've been working out for years and this is by far my favorite gym. I felt comfortable the first day I started. I especially like Erin's TKO class and thanks to Tony Sandoval for upping my golf game. Pretty cool I can work out and enjoy the sauna and a massage at the spa. I highly recommend Proof fitness!
We are happy to be members at Proof for many reasons! It's a clean, well maintained environment. The staff is friendly and helpful at all times. I personally enjoy the design and atmosphere of the gym. They offer a variety of classes for a great price. We have been training with Warren and couldn't be happier as we are seeing results! This is a gym I'm actually excited to be attending. :)
Best gym in town! I've been a member since it opened, and couldn't imagine working out at any other gym! I started out taking classes which really helped me with my fitness journey. They have a great variety of classes and great instructors. Then when I felt like I needed to take my fitness to the next level I started personal training with Elisabeth Newman. I can't believe the changes I have seen in my body. She is an amazing trainer and always pushes me to do my best!!! I actually LOVE working out now because of her!!!
I love Proof! The variety and quality of group classes is a unique feature of this gym! I have never seen this many different classes at the same place! Every instructor is incredibly qualified, encouraging, creative (every class is different every time!), and able to accommodate and modify for every fitness level.
The facilities are a blend of rustic and industrial, which makes Proof a very visually fun place to train! The equipment at Proof is top of the line, even incorporating some pieces of equipment that I haven't seen at any other gym before.
As a mom of 3 young kids, the child care was just as important to me anything else. All of the child care staff have been great with my kids. The playrooms at both locations are fun and beautiful, and my kids love going.
The price is incredibly reasonable for everything you get at this gym! I can't say enough great things!!
well the location is good (downtown area) and has a parking lot (huge plus). Staff is really friendly, rush hour doesn't seem horrible as in other gyms. Equipment is all new and they genuinely have everything that you may require (i like the fact that they do have plenty of things for calisthenics if you enjoy that kind of thing). As for the price, it isn't that expensive considering you have access to a certain number of classes and again the facilities are top notch if you care about that genre of things (i don't). i would recommend at least taking a look.
Proof is wonderful! I love all of the functional equipment that they have i.e. box jumps, slam balls, ropes, resistance bands, TRX, etc. They also have every piece of equipment that you need. I'm really big on energy in a gym and Proof has great energy, and great people. They make me feel welcomed and comfortable! They also play music at a good level so I don't get self-conscious of my working out sounds hahaha
