I'm a big Marriott fan, but this stay was not as pleasant as I've come to expect. The staff was not rude, but they were not as polite as usual. The room had an odor, but the front desk did quickly offer another room - which was nice. The second room was clean.
Great staff. Was a little surprised that there wasn't a bit more of a restaurant or food options, but I guess missing that was my fault. Decent location of 435 although not much within a couple miles.
Aster Nuu (i think I spelled it correctly?) was very helpful. She went out of her way to assist me AND followed up with me to make sure I had a great experience. I met another guy checking the parking lot Frank, sweet man and was checking the parking lot consistently, which was nice to know our cars were safe!
Chairs in room not comfortable. Like that dispensed shampoo and body wash is less plastic waste. Love the pillows. Friendly staff. Outside deck to sit overlooking courtyard. Thank you Marriott for being green. (Plant more trees, don't use pesticides in your lawns please)
It's very nice hotel for the price. There rooms are super clean and very homey. I was super happy about clean towels already being in the bathroom too.
I have been coming to this hotel for years and have always had a wonderful experience - even while they were undergoing renovations - which are now complete! Rooms and lobby look and feel brand new after the renovations. The only issue I have is how loud the interior and exterior doors are - and very few people take the time to close them quietly, so they slam quite loudly..sometimes all hours of the night and day. Would love to see the remedy that! The Bistro serves Starbucks coffees and lattes, etc. as well as a small menu. The pool and hot tub are clean and in good working order. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.
It was amazing comfortable beds awesome balcony. Even a hot tub and pool with Starbucks and Marriot bar. 10/10 would stay again.

Pretty sure the deadbolt didn't work on my door. And the TV definitely didn't work. Let the morning clerk know and he offered me a coffee. True there wasn't more that could be done. But you figure at least the basics should work in every room.

So, I researched for 4 days on the best hotels. In this area. , and I am glad I picked this one, not only was the room nice the lobby was nice , the bistro was nice .. the pool area was nice .. we had a great time , I will tell you. This hotel is tucked off , ...off the side of a neighborhood..so not easy to see ...it is right next to the highway too...there is construction going on right at this moment on the hwy. To this exit. So it is a bit confusing but easy to navigate, there is a balcony on every room (from what I can tell) witch is nice if your a smoker like me ..the bistro is a nice addition to the hotel experience cause you can just get out of bed and order something and go get it..or go down and eat( or take it with you) I paid the extra few dollars a day to have it included in the stay , there isnt a bunch of choices on the menu but there is enough and it's so good ..some one had wrote a review and said. The room was hot and the ac didnt work. Well its actually on the wall that controls the window unit thingy. So we kept it a crisp 65 ° and was cool ( its summer and 99° outside)...over all this was one of the best hotel experience I have had ...

Very happy with management and the amenities. The hotel isn't for a younger crowd, but that's what we were looking for. If you book in advance (1-3 months) the pricing is great for a King size suite. Highly recommend.

Hotel who charges these prices needs to have breakfast. They do not. They have a starbucks they try to push you to. I stayed all across hotels in the west this week that all, all regards of price offered at least bagels. I would never stay here again or any other Courtyard. Really disappointed in this hotel. I don't go in Starbucks ever. They get none of my money. Not one dime !
Great place to stay! Very friendly. Pool is nice, hot tub too!! Continental breakfast is only free if you pay the higher price for the room. Food is great!
The Bistro is a Starbucks by morning and I really appreciate that. The place is clean with an updated decor. The second and third floor units have small decks, which allow you to sit outside and still be semi-private. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Wish the patio doors opened more than a few inches. No problems with internet. Quiet neighborhood with decent selection of food options nearby.
Great BBQ nearby for dinner. Very nice hotel for business meeting. Comfy beds!
The room is very nice. Staff are friendly, welcoming and kind. Fitness room and pool were nice. The screen door wasn't allowed to open more than 4 inches, which wasn't ideal, but otherwise everything was great. Would stay again.
Overnight guest. Hotel is quiet. Clean. Beds are spectacularly comfortable. No breakfast but a restaurant inside. Sadly, parking can be limited at night with everyone in from the day's events.
The rooms are really nice and the beds are super comfy. The comforters were these beautiful, chic white comforters and I felt it gave the room a serene feel. The service is what you would expect of a nice hotel. Overall I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
I enjoyed my stay, with a very nice room. Staff very well trained and on top of things. The hotel is placed in a nice quite area.
Is it possible to rate lower than a 1? Seriously, DO NOT stay here. The entire hotel had a very strong perfume smell (what are they covering up?). It reminded me of a nursing home using very strong odor masking agents. It made me gag. Plus, the beds looked like someone had slept in them. I did complain to the GM about other things too and she was as empathetic as a rock. Kelly Kuns. Not only will I not stay in this hotel again, but I will NEVER stay in another Marriott again. I'm all about Hilton now.
The Marriott was fantastic. The lobby atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. The bistro was very nice and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Plenty of things to do at this hotel and the courtyard was really nice to walk around with my family. The indoor pool was clean and fun! The breakfast was not buffet style like I am used too it was ordered down and then you pick it up which worked out great! The lemon blueberry pancakes were good!! This was the perfect pick for a weekend getaway with my family!

Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was well trained and very professional. They were always gracious and accommodating. Also, we were very pleased with the quality of the bedding - good quality mattress and pillows. When we needed special accommodations they were quick to oblige. Overall a positive experience and definitely earned five stars from us.
Room was average, but clean. Parking and outside door locations were very well placed. Staff was very courteous. Ordered the spucy chicken flat bread from the Bistro and it was exceptional.
The cafe in this courtyard was better then others that I had been in before, however there was constant construction and having to step over the workers mess.
Also the shower wasn't right as the water was flowing out of the spicket when trying to shower even though the handle had been pulled to direct the water to the shower head.
They toiletries they give you here are lacking, where most courtyards have the 3 pumps with body wash shampoo and conditioner. At this location all that was provided was a small hard bar of soap and a tiny bottle of shampoo. No lotion or conditioner.
Lastly if you use the housekeeping instead of taking the points, you need to leave a note to get the coffee items refilled or they will just try to give you what you get for the full stay.
The Kansas City Marriot has delightful staff and great service. There standard Bistro has a great layout and nice vibe. The rooms are nice. They are currently renovating, but so far that has not been an issue with my stay.
Nice, but appeared short-staffed the whole time. The "restaurant" was mediocre. Much prefer self-serve breakfast. No reason a bowl of cereal and a banana should take 10 minutes to deliver. Other than that, the rooms are very nice, very clean. The staff was friendly. The pool and hot tub were a really nice amenity. Bed/bedding were comfy. Overall, 4 out of 5.
The intake process was pleasant and the staff was welcoming. I enjoyed the room being roomy and crisp and clean. The balcony is always an added bonus and very enjoyable on a rainy night. We will visit this location again. The breakfast was quite the value when purchased with the room and it was very tasty as well. Highly recommended!
Love it!! Stayed the night of our wedding. Staff is very friendly and nice. Good location from our venue down holmes. King suite was very clean and smelled great!
Enjoyed the fact that breakfast was included. Nice hotel but my room had stains all over the carpet. Really the only complaint I have. Complex was nice. Little bit if a drive to Kansas City but was manageable and traffic wasn't too much of an issue. Fitness Center was decent enough, small it at least a run can be done. Staff was extremely courteous and the bed was amazing!
I was at the hotel for a day long work meeting. The lobby and courtyard area were clean and well maintained. The meeting room was not as nice. The room was hot and the tables were too close together. Lunch was good, but served strangely for a group meeting. It was plated but spread out on one long table like a buffet. I've attended a lot of meetings at various Marriot locations and felt this specif location needed a little work.
Clean and cheap. There was no lotion with my soaps and at midnight I could hear people in the hall. Woke me up, but an otherwise nice visit. Pretty indoor pool and hot tub. Nice balcony on the room.
