Couldn't get locked in on a set price. Three different quotes for three different membership timeframes. Reply to Owner Comment: We passed that point long ago, just helping raise awareness. Your employee (same employee gave each quote) gave three different quotes, for the same membership, three different times in the same conversation. We went from around $700 per year for a couple, then it was $900, then when they started paperwork it was suddenly $1300 for the year because the promo they offered, was apparently not valid any longer. It ended up that our yearly membership was going to cost more per month, than just paying separately each month. No clue how that makes sense. Like i said, raising awareness.

That Valerie person is nasty and rude. She needs to learn how to speak to people. I was going to inquire about a membership but after seeing how she was talking to the staff. I was mortified. No thank you. Go to another location unless you want to be spoken badly to. She needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY! PERIOD!

Although the gym has been renovated. There are a lot of worn down machines with rips in the upholstery. Members are charged a $39 yearly club maintenance fee and it doesn't seem like it is being utilized efficiently. Also, the cleaning crew does not do a thorough job of cleaning the facility. There are dust bunnies, crumbs and hair balls around most machines and the cross fit turf. The locker room carpets are brown with club traffic and need to be shampooed. When these concerns were brought to the management no changes were made. If you care about cleanliness pick another gym.

The gym is nice and employees are friendly but why is Fox "news" the only news channel aired on your televisions? Who at corporate decided that state propaganda tv was the best choice for your business?

I love the water aerobic classes. The classes are fun and provide a really great workout, without putting stress on my back or my joints. I have recommended this class to several people, who also provided positive feedback. The locker room is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were members and regular attendees at this facility for three years. At first it was owned by 24 Hour Fitness and we had no problems. This location has since converted into a Genesis Health Club and been renovated.
I'm not sure if they advertise more heavily or what, but the place is always packed now. We go at 5:30 in the morning and decided to cancel our membership after waiting over and over for 10+ minutes to use the power racks. We opted to skip the hassle of waiting for people who do curls and bench presses in the power racks and build a home gym instead. Best decision we ever made for our fitness.
Friends of ours complained that Genesis jacked up their rates, but we never saw that happen. The front desk staff were always helpful. It does seem like in the last year many pieces of equipment developed tears in the padding. I attribute this to the same reason we cancelled our membership, too many people using equipment without enough care taken by the owner to maintain it.
Be warned that like most gyms, this place has terms and conditions for membership that are a mile long. We were told at time of signing that there were no annual fees outside of the regular monthly payment. Lo and behold, we were charged annual fees each year. When we decided to cancel, they charged us the next month's membership fees even though we had no interest in ever attending the gym again.
Do yourself a favor and find a smaller gym if you cannot build at home.

Great looking facility and fun updated equipment. I would say that the sauna and steam room need make overs but Ill take it for now. Great job! Not even upset about my monthly dues being "wasted" for the period of time that I did not attend. The new look is motivating and makes me want to be there.

This location just completed a much needed, total renovation and it turned out great! They have a lot of different equipment for whatever workout you want to do. Keep up the good work!

I joined this club in March of 2017. It is a perfect location for me as it's close to work. And if I can't make it during those hours, it has awesome child care as well. The current renovations are almost complete and the gym looks awesome. Can't wait to see it finished and get to use it to it's full potential!

I shouldn't be paying full price and a full on sign-up fee to deal with limited hours and construction and outright closures. The equipment for the last month I've been a member is...used...as the best way to put it. I'm looking forward to the new stuff and have seen the renderings, so hopefully that comes about quickly. The staff is nice. Not sure there are any actual trainers at this location, at least certified. Definitely haven't seen anyone on staff so far I trust to spot me. With all that said, the location is great for me and the hope is that all of the hassle and hour restrictions and closures and everything else like limited water, no towels, etc. is finally resolved as we enter the new year. It's unfortunate that my membership at my last gym expired before this location was done with the remodel, but I guess it's almost done so there's that. Staying positive.

Classes are great. Staff is friendly. Locker room needs some repairs. Group exercise room usually needs a good cleaning.

I have been at Genesis for a short time, my experience has been good so far. My personal trainer is awesome, the front desk staff always greets me with a smile, the water aerobics instructor is great, she keeps it moving. The saunas are not cleaned often enough, neither the dressing room.

Great place to feel comfortable! I feel welcome in all the classes!! Lots of smiling people. We all know each of us struggles with something or another. & a true positive environment helps lift us up!!!

Going to another gym at the end of my contract. I can't bring a guest without paying $15 and then having my guest be hounded by the sales staff??? And why are there 3 locations where you have to have an upgraded membership? I think that's pretty silly. If you pay for a membership you should be able to go to any genesis membership. Your management is garbage. Wish I wouldn't have a signed a contract with this gym.
