Great place for families to hang out together. Wide variety of difficulty and fun exercise options. The people are the best part though! My son looks forward to climbing team practices. Our family has had a membership here for a couple years & we're hooked!

GREAT PLACE, PEOPLE AND FUN TIME! I was there for 5 hours...SO MUCH to climb here in the V3-5 range, I couldn't do them all and left skin sore! Michelle R. and other staff were friendly and helpful, as well as the members who were great at showing me there favorite routes and to help give beta and encouragement! Definitely coming here again and also check out the ninja, Moonboard and all that they have! Fun for all ages and levels!! Kid and family friendly: they can get geared up and can use auto-belays...well laid out so experienced boulders and newbies don't get in each others way.

Came here on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed. It took us a while to get checked in, the 2 girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Once we had our shoes on we had to maneuver around a few groups of classes and pick a spot and start climbing. There is no one on one instruction for what to do or where to go. But there is a safety video playing on continuous loop in the back.

The crowd of people didn't seem to thin out until 8pm when we were leaving.

I did climb a tall wall and once I got up there I had nowhere to go but down and at that time my arms were exhausted. It would have been nice to be able to have a safe way to get down.

We did try the ninja room after the classes were over and that was very challenging.

After an hour there we were spent and our arms were sore. Not sure if we will be back. But it does give you a good work out

Top notch bouldering. Lots of routs and variations for different skill levels. Ninja room is super fun. There were little kids messing around on obstacles as well as obvious pros. Friendly staff, helpful, fun competitions too.

Technical problems that need careful thought (or the help of a local) to complete. Definitely a highlight of the gym.

A section of the gym is dedicated to American Ninja equipment. However, I didn't see many people over the age of eight using it. Some of it looks insanely hardcore and fun, just arrive late in the evening or during school hours otherwise you run the risk of stepping on a minor.

Everyone I talked to was super friendly, nice tunes, overall good vibe.

I love this place! They have a great variety and it is a great place to hang out this friends. I don't usually go bouldering, but this place really helped me think of all the bright sides of bouldering. The ninja warrior obstacles are also amazing because of how fun it is to try to test yourself and get better at everything. Even though everyone is making a ninja warrior course of their own this place really shines because of how many things they really have.

We love coming to Apex. They change the routes pretty regularly which is great and there are varying levels of difficulty which allows us to climb with friends and family who are better and worse than us. We definitely recommend this local place.

My.kids and their friends absolutely loved their visit. The Ninja room not only challenged them physically but allowed them to get creative and create different obstacle courses. The staff was super helpful. Will be back!

Overall a nice gym. Ninja warrior setup is a nice plus. The route setters need to allow some more variance between difficulty levels though.

The difference between a V0 and V1 is far to great. I feel a new climber should be able to send a V0 route within a few attempts. As of today this isn't the case with the routes available. The jump from V0 to V1 is a huge jump. Many gyms would consider the V1s and V2s that were available to be closer to V4 ratings.

In summation, great place to climb but I wouldn't send a newer climber there. If you normally climb >V5 than you'll have a good time.

Staff is very friendly, gym always clean, and we enjoy the weights upstairs. Only negative is the million kids running around, at least on Tuesday nights. Otherwise, great place and we will be going back!
