I would not recommend this gym- especially if you are looking for a short term commitment. I wanted to use this gym for three months that I was home from college and it was fine while I went there. I chose this gym because it looked like it would be easy enough to make a 3 month membership work and it was close to my house. However, when I tried to cancel at the end of three months, rather than cancelling me, the company "froze" my account without my permission. This means that without alerting me at all, I began getting billed again in May of 2018 and have been billed ever since. I just now noticed this charge and am now out almost $300 because of a membership that I had CANCELLED that was reopened without my consent or even an alert. I am super unhappy with this. I was then told by the financial company in charge of this gym that I had to have in writing that the account was cancelled - but I cancelled over the phone in 2017- so of course I don't have any documentation. I have tried multiple times to figure out how to get a refund but no one on the gym's end nor the financial company's end seems to know what to do with this situation. I'm shocked that they don't see it all the time.
If you choose to go to this gym be VERY explicit when you cancel your membership and make sure you are having it CANCELLED not "frozen." Furthermore, know that you need written documentation of such interaction in order to ensure you are not charged further.

If you like the price of planet fitness but you miss dead lifts, t bar rows, and actual squats then this is the place for you.

Staff is TERRIFIC and the atmosphere is very non intimidating! Facilities are clean and everyone is friendly and helpful.

What a great gym! The parking is easy, the staff is friendly and helpful. It is a clean and comfortable place to workout. They have great employees that are supportive and sincerely want you to achieve your goals. They even have small group workouts if you do better in a class setting!

Firstly, I am am frequent traveler. I happened to find this gym by google searching "gyms near me" and fortunately this was the first choice that came up (I'm very glad). I spoken with the very friendly staff and gotten setup with the guest weekly rate. This gym has everything I need and I really love the staff who helped made my Lenexa trip a very welcome and pleasant trip. I would definitely keep this gym as my "home away from home" gym!!!! No need to find any other workout facility..this is home!!!!!

Such a good group of people here. Amazing service and workouts that make you feel good. This is a great place with great people and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly gym where you get results

They are business people....professional attitude...which will cause to messy situation with money or package....at any time in evening it is not dry ambiance...so u will enjoy and feel lively while workout.

Was extremely disappointed in this place, even the second time. They just want your money. Not a friendly place all the way around. Wouldn't recommend it at all

I love this gym! The owner, trainers, and staff all have been so supportive of my journey to get fit and healthy. Because of their encouragement and assistance over the months I now look forward to working out and have a confidence I never imagined possible.

I was SO nervous about starting a new fitness routine, especially when I knew I was finally going to be held accountable for my actions (or lack of actions). This is a move I definitely do not regret making. Beth and her team were fabulous at introducing me to the way they do things in their 6 week challenge. My eating habits, workout consistency, and enthusiasm for life are have all improved beyond any level I would have probably accomplished alone. I finally like the way my body looks in the mirror and I no longer am "skinny fat" after building some serious muscle and burning gobs of fat. I highly recommend!!!

Loved the six week challenge! It's a great way to jump start you in the right direction to become a healthier you. Everyone is super nice and helpful during your journey. Definitely recommend it!

Simply put, This gym is awesome! The owner, Beth is super great, friendly and helpful and she expects the same from all of her employees. As someone who has moved a lot and worked out at a lot of gyms both big and small this is the best. The gym is modern and has great equipment all at a very fair price. Easily the best deal around on gyms. I would easily pay twice as much at they charge for a membership. Highly recommend this place!

I really like this place. It is always clean, the staff is always nice, it is never overly busy where you can't get on a machine, equipment is top quality and never out of order, they will change the TV channel with a smile if you ask, the trainers are there to help you and also get to know you as a member, I feel safe whenever I am in the gym, be that 1AM, 6AM, or 3PM, there is a very wide variety of members, for a smaller gym, they have a nice clean hydro chair message & stand up tanning (a little extra $ - if that is what you want - not my cup of tea), the owner is active in the gym, works there, cleans, picks up trash and know her members. So all in all, it is a great gym and could not be happier with my membership.

SO MUCH FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!
Total scam of a business. Very unethical. Not the kind of people i would want to have my money.
Don't even get me started on the "free" 6 week challenge they advertise. It's $500 yall. They don't tell you that until you come in. They claim they will give you the money back IF you complete the challenge. But first of all, i wouldn't trust that one bit. They would probably claim it was "free" and that they never took your money to begin with.
And if you aren't fat enough, They won't even let you participate. In other words, if you look like you might actually complete the challenge, they would rather just sell you personal training session for the same, but 100% non refundable price. (Because all skinny people are fit, right?) Everything about them screams, "scam!"
Oh, and they are open 24 hours. But WITHOUT staff there most of the time. Yup! That's right! Any member can come and go as they please with a pass that actually unlocks the door. That's safe, right?!
Let's see if they respond to this and pretend like they have no idea what I'm talking about. I already let Beth, the owner or manager, not exactly sure what her title is, and she didn't even respond.

Beth and her staff is amazing. Very helpful and outgoing. Very clean facility and little extras that are so appreciated being in a male dominant world. If youre looking for group fitness training, one on one or just a family oriented gym, this is the place to go!

Great place to workout. I can get in and get out quickly. Never waiting around for machines. Everything is always super clean and the staff is awesome. Best gym I've ever been a member of.

Would definitely recommend, very affordable! Staff is very nice and helpful! I had to go through the process of cancelling membership due to moving out of the area, I gave 30 day notice as per agreement and was slightly off by a day and was going to be stuck paying an extra month. Spoke with the owner directly about my situation and she was patient and worked with me to help figure out the best solution.
(the day prior to speaking to the owner: while waiting in line to speak with someone at the desk, an off the clock employee offered to assist in any way he could while i waited.) very pleasant surprise and great customer service!

Another Gym, Another Tough Time Cancelling. I went through the website with minimal help cancelling, sent a contact form requests that was not documented on my account, called and asked to call a 888 number, called 888 number and told to go to website, and nothing on website so called 888 number again to cancel. I had to force my way through using a bunch of 0s to get to an operator. Then they told me they had no record of my original request and would be to put a 30-day notice on my account, guaranteeing them another month's fee. Sheesh, they told me cancellation was easy when I signed up.

I absolutely love this gym! I can workout anytime I want in this very clean very safe place. Love the different brand new machines. You have to try the water massage bed it is a great way to end your workout. All the employees I've ever spoken with are helpful and friendly without being a stereotypical condescending "meat head" like I've met in other gyms. Fantastic gym at a fantastic price.

I have been a member since May 2016 and the people there are supportive, kind, caring and knowledgeable about fitness. I love the atmosphere, convenient location and the equipment. It's small and I like that. Makes it a bit more personable. I haven't met anyone there that doesn't want to be there and doesn't enjoy a good workout. Keep up the good work guys!

Really great, affordable gym. I've been a member here since October 2016. I am very pleased with the cleanliness, equipment selection, and professionalism of the staff. It's also the best value around town, either doing M2M or yearly plans. I guess my only small gripe is the men's locker/bathroom can get cramped quickly. But that usually only happens during peak hours. Otherwise, this is a really great gym.

Best gym in the city! If you are looking for a state of the art, friendly, clean and judge free gym...look no further! If you haven't joined....what are you waiting for? Seriously? I have been a member for almost a year and couldn't be more pleased!
