It is now The Athletic Club. Recently remodeled the equipment is mostly new and solid. The lockers are now more substantial and the showers are nice. Trainers are useful.
Good group fitness classes, warm water swimming pool with lap lanes, all the machines were way too good. 2 hr child care. Cafe, steam sauna and hot tub..
Would not recommend. A lot of disorganization and did not have a pleasant experience with staff. Too expensive for what they offer.
It is a great place to workout. Clean and organized and treat customers very good

Been working out here for almost a month. I am new to the whole gym idea but they made it very easy to feel comfortable. The trainers are great and will help you get started on the machines based on your goals. People are friendly and although it can be busy at times I have never had to wait to use a machine more than a minute or two.

Too crowded and too many televisions. I felt stressed coming here. I canceled my membership after two months.
They have a nice staff. There is controversy over how clean the hot tubs are they are fine especially the men room one.
This is the overview of it all :
First floor: A nice nursery a lot of toys from the outside they have a basketball court a rock wall I heard from what I can see a nice nursery staff. They have this other room to your left that I don't know what it is.Then they have the desk they ask you your number the information desk. Then to you right side they have a yummy snack shop they have good smoothies.Then if you keep going right there is a big basketball court. Then if you are at the court and go left they have this quiet room with weights punching bags but they sometimes have classes there. Then if you went to your left when you came they then have swimming lanes they offer swimming lessons public and private. If you get in there they have an outdoor pool max depth is 5 feet with a slide 3 swimming lanes there they have fountains there there are tons of toys in the indoor pool they have a hot tub that is fairly big now there is some controversy over the cleaning of it I mean it okay they have towels there. After that they have family locker rooms.
Second floor: They have the main gym includes weights a running course treadmills some other fitness objects. They have a yoga room that is quiet. A martial arts room too. They also have a spa/massage room.

My biggest complaint is the small size of the shower towels. It may seem trivial, but they really are uncomfortable and the biggest competitor in town has giant, comfortable towels. Seems like a small thing to change and would be a big improvement. Also, I'll chime in on the hot tub "cleanliness". One night I was showering and heard someone clearing their throat/nose and spitting in the hot tub. When I got out of the shower I peaked over at the hot tub and was surprised to see it was an employee of the club. Just nasty. I don't use that one. As far as I know the one next to the pool is clean.

Prairie Life Fitness gives you a nice facility, with lots of equipment, usually clean, friendly staff. A very good value.
Good gym, has a completely redone basketball court and loads of cardio equipment. Has mostly everything for both beginner and intermediate weightlifting. Has great strength trainers that can help with general to sport specific training. Only problem with this gym is it has very few squat racks. Overall a very clean and well equipped fitness center.
Having both an indoor and outdoor pool is nice, but equipment and facilities should be in better condition for what they charge.
This place is great. 4 stars because you are limited to IHRSA centers when out of town traveling. Prairie Life only has locations in the Midwest.
They have 1 of 3 issues going on in this club. Either the employees are incompetent and tell members just things they want to hear, the employees outright lie to members to get them to stay, or the GM Deb lies to her members to get there money. I don't know which of these is going on but it needs fixed fast. Also for the love of god clean your "whirlpool" everytime I used it I would get sick. For the rate your members pay here your gym should be just as clean as lifetime. In all honesty just go to lifetime it's worth the extra cost
