This yoga studio would be a nice place to go if the classes were more structured and followed a more cohesive setup and plan AND if the owner were more customer-friendly and actually understood how to properly run a business. The instructor, and owner, of the one class I actually went to seemed to have absolutely no clue what she wanted to even do in the class and moved around from pose to pose in a very absurd and unorganized fashion.

The consistency of timing is nonexistent, as I went to one class that didn't begin until fifteen minutes after it was supposed to start, and then the next time I arrived at 6:01 for a 6:00 class and the doors were locked. I called to speak to Liz about this, because I'm sure as most normal human beings know, sometimes things pop up that cause you to be late. In this case, it was one minute, and I am now being charged a no show fee. This would not be a problem for me if I had not attended a class two days earlier that didn't begin for fifteen minutes after its start time.

I had purchased a package for the month, which is a very steep and overpriced $100, and called the studio to complain about the class I had "missed" and to request a refund on my package. From the beginning of the conversation, Liz was very rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I attempted to explain to her that I have been to many different yoga studios and had never experienced anything like a penalty for being ONE minute late to class. Yoga is supposed to be a relaxing, laid back experience and is certainly not meant to cause a higher level of stress for those who choose to practice. Liz does not seem to really care much about her patrons, otherwise she would be much kinder and more understanding. I told her I would pay for my first class, as well as for the class and no show fee for the second (a total of $50) but would like to be refunded the remainder of the money I paid for the package. She refused, saying that she does not give out refunds, and told me that I can come in to use the remainder of my package but will not be receiving money back. She then proceeded to hang up on me.

This was arguably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had in my life. I would not recommend this studio to ANYONE who values their time and money and who enjoys being treated respectfully. Liz should not own a business of any sort, as she is hotheaded and very, very rude.

Excellent location, great facility and the Staff is very skilled. The programs and sessions are well rounded, and there is something for everyone. What I like most about Solace is the atmosphere that the everyone brings to the Salon. Not sure if someone who truely pratices yoga would post a negative review. Namaste.

Solace has a GREAT variety of classes. Everyone I have brought to the studio- LOVES it!!!! The staff is super friendly and most of all the studio is VERY clean!!!

Solace has a GREAT variety of classes. Everyone I have brought to the studio- LOVES it!!!! The staff is super friendly and most of all the studio is VERY clean!!!
