We enjoyed playing disc golf, but it appears the area isn't mowed often.

The new Sanders Memorial Disc Golf Course is a wonderful upgrade to this (flood plane) levee park. The layout utilizes the open air terrain, a canopy of woods, and levee elevation structures for a variety of technical shots.
