Love this gym and couldn't go anywhere else. They clean it every night and thoroughly keep gym equipment organized. Lifetimes do have a reputation for being this way and I can say it holds true.

A perfect place for workout with a great facility and equipment for the gym goer! I go to the gym almost every day and I absolutely love it because they have everything I want and motivate me to keep myself healthy. Furthermore, the staff are always nice especially Mark. Great greetings with warm welcome! Absolutely love it.

Fantastic upscale GYM in schaumburg. Very clean, friendly staff and great ambiance. Love the group classes, rock climbing wall and sauna. Open 24/7 the child care facility is very helpful. Highly recommend the gym

Raised the rate 2-3 times a year. Club is really dirty. Brought at least 10 people to sign up and they show no appreciation they keep jacking up the rates half of us go once a month what a greedy company. Xsport is less than half price around the corner thats a few year old everything is newer and better there! I am going there and my friends are following.

i brought my kids to day care around 3:30pm and my 5year old went back in playing area , while i was walking out i notice few kids in front area are crying ,this play area was completely empty like someone cleaned the entire place with noting for kids to do, this kids look to me one and two year old, and i asked this lady who was working infront her name "MARIA" can you give them toys and she replied they will cry for few mins and will stop and i said maybe a toy or two, and she said i just cleaned up all toys and put them inside cabinet and she even said i can call supervisor and if want to complain "REALLY MARIA". i left and sat outside the door and noticed those kids cry for next 10-15mins and she paged those parents to come and get the kids. "THIS LADY MARIA IS SUPER LAZY". i even worst she lied to her supervisor when she came later , she was ,managed to get few toys just when she entered. Life time day care is a JOKE. DO NOT DROP OF KIDS WHEN YOU SEE THIS MEAN WOMEN. OTHER'S
MAYBE OK . THERE ARE NO CAMERAS INSIDE ,WONDER WHY??

They make it very difficult to cancel, after coming into the location in-person, they processed two months of payments (even though I hadn't attended the gym for 3 years), apparently didn't cancel the membership. Continued to charge me and asked that I come back in again. I found the paperwork that they provided me with the cancellation and emailed them. Continued to get late payment emails after doing that. This issue is still not resolved.

So I checked in with my toddler, changed her into her bathing suit, showered, only to find out they started adult swim earlier than whats posted online. No email nor text notification whatsoever.
Front Desk who checked us in did not even bother to notify me either. Old Orchard and Vernon Hills are way better in customer service.

The gym is beautiful. However the quality of the machines are ugly. The yoga schedule has also been pretty ugly. There used to be wayyyy more classes. When I signed up there were anywhere from 6-9 yoga classes per weekday. Today (Monday) there were 3. Usually Mondays are one of the busiest days for a gym. However I'm glad there's no longer gross red stains on the shower curtains. The locker room has gotten cleaner from what I've seen, but then again I'm not able to make it in for yoga as often so maybe I'm not the best source on that subject.

I am so happy I came across this gym. It is truly one of a kind. A great mix of strength and endurance training. You will not get bored! The classes are small and the trainers truly care about your success.

I love this GYM. There is never a broken machine. My two teenage kids also attends this GYM during the summer to help with sports. My only downfall is one of the employees who works between the MENS/WOMENS locker room. His name is JACK. He is exceptionally rude !!! I wasn't able to open my locker, and I asked Jack if he can help me. He was not only rude he said it was my fault. I have a special way of locking the door. I'm sure that he has accidentally opened my LOCKER for someone else that forgot where they put their gym bag; resulting in my locker being reset! CMON JACK!!! If you don't like your job! Find something ELSE?

I was on monthly holiday in Schaumburg and I went to life time using guest pass which I got from my friend. After my first training DR offered me 1 month contract and he said I would pay $86 once and they will never charge me again. 2 weeks later I was charged for $72. DR said it was a mistake and I will get refund soon. He lied. We chatted by emails and he was always saying that they were still processing my money. Eventually he stopped responding to my emails. I still haven't got the refund.
The gym itself is alright, nothing special but not bad either. But I can't recommend it and I will never sign up again because I don't trust them as a company.

The company protect it too much giving not much flexible for the customers and the cost is not cheap. Looking for elsewhere better.

Some prick lifeguards on power Trip, but overall good place to take kids.
The trainers are aggressive to sell you services rather than listen and help you, which is unfortunate.

Really didn't like that they turned me away from the pool when I showed up with all my scuba gear and a trident. Otherwise, the lockers are great in the men's lockroom. I can fit a lot of 6-packs in them!

I came to visit for the holidays and this Gym didn't live up to my standards from other Lifetime Fitness gyms. This Gym isn't as appealing on the outside from other Lifetime gyms. Equipment looks old, maybe its time for new equipment replacements as other gym companies have modern equipments. The steam room isn't in the best shape as it can be dirty at times and it can be a bit crowded. Maybe they need to expand the Gym a bit and make outside renovations to make it more appealing. Other Lifetime gyms are a lot more cleaner and a bit more organized.

Life Spa review
One of the nail techs talks about her depressing life the whole time and literally my no chip manicure chips the first day, have tried three times. It's often thick, has had bumps, or ripples in it. Not worth the money.
DO NOT get the EYELASH EXTENSIONS. Half of mine were gone in 5 days. I followed all care instructions but just in case it was a fluke went back a week later and got an hour long fill. I didn't get them wet and didn't use eye cream and now I have 8 individual lash strands (they attach one strand to one lash) left on one eye and 10 on another. It sheds unevenly and looks weird. They swore if I followed care instructions they would last 6 weeks. That's not true. You'll look weird before the first week is over. $200 for this is ridiculous.

Ryan is an amazing trainer who makes sure you have a fun but productive workout, and always keeps you laughing. He's super attentive to detail and adjusting workouts to meet each of his clients personal needs. Go see him!!!!

Was visiting schamberg for the week celebrating my 16 yr old sons b/day stopped in off the bike trail to see what it was all about Toni at the front desk went above and beyond customer service, all the staff was helpful with questions to make sure things were ok for are visit adam a personal trainer when above to make sure I understood the equipment and offer advise!!! I'm from small town Iowa and this place totally rocks! Even the people at the gym were full of respect!! Thanks guys for the great time the my family had there!! WILL BE BACK

been a member for 14 years.. to some it up it's basically a nice gym, but extremely over packed and OVERPRICED and they will lock you into a contract with no way out unless if you DIE or move a million miles away. I don't recommend it honestly unless if you like throwing away money.

What a joke, I've been being charged $10/mo. against my knowledge for close to two years now. Called in and representative couldn't cancel account over the phone nor could he offer to refund my credit card for the most recent charge of $10 on 10/1/17. This is nonsensical and no way to run a business. Not surprised that this location specifically is under 3.5 stars.. none of the locations top 4 but needless to say this company doesn't care about its customers. Stay Away and save your money.
