I had to relocate for my job to a different state and when i checked with Signature fitness about a refund for all my unused personal training sessions, I was told that i will get a refund. I just had to provide my job offer letter. Sounds easy enough right? Wrong. If you read other reviews you'll see I'm not the only one having trouble getting ahold of anyone to get my refund. I've been waiting 2 months for any sort of status update. I've repeatedly contacted the owner, Sheldon and called the gym and have been ignored everytime.

Nice, clean facility, lots of equipment and group classes to choose from. However DONOT sign up for personal training sessions, management seems to have a hard time retaining their good trainers. It is very frustrating as you can't work with any trainer consistently for more than 3-4 months. I hope owner gets some HR management training.

Great trainers. Bad managers. I have been waiting since July to get a refund back from this place. Multiple calls and still getting nowhere with them.
11/01/19 Update. Its been 5 month's since my wife and I left Sig fit and still have not gotten our refund.
12/27/19 Update. Owner contacted my wife. Said we would receive our refund. Still haven't seen anything.
If anyone else is having as much trouble as we are I would encourage you to give Sig Fit a truthful review. My review has been the easiest way to contact them. I am going to keep updating my review until I have a positive experience with them and have received my refund.

I joined Signature about 6 months ago. I decided to sign up for personal training for the first time in my life, and I'm happier than ever. The training staff is awesome. They're young, enthusiastic and offer dynamic workouts and instructions. I also appreciate the cleanliness of the locker rooms when compared to other gyms I've been a member of.

What a great place! The variety of work outs is remarkable (and unique) and I love the environment.
I still hate working out, but this gym makes it far more tolerable. ;)

Top-notch staff with great hours and excellent equipment, all for a great price. The staff is unmatched in their attentiveness and willingness to help out. I thought I lost my watch there a few weeks ago and I swear every person working there pitched in to help find it. I would recommend this gym in a heartbeat to anyone in the area looking for a great place to workout for a modest price.

I was a member for over a year and thought it was a great gym. I made great friends and the staff is awesome.
After a year, I moved out of state and cancelled my membership. They continued to charge me for the next few months after that. (6months to be exact). I called and let them know I cancelled my membership 6 months ago etc. They told me that yes it's cancelled, but they did not refund me my money.
Now it's another 6 months that have passed and in April 2018, my bank gets charged 5 times!!! I called them up and they tell me that there is nothing they can do there...... this is fraudulent..... very disappointed.

The worst experience that you can ever expect.
They are keep charging me for no reason even after I cancel my gym membership. I tried to call the ower and he never answers the phone.
Gym staff is not replying my email nor helping me to solve the situation.
In the end I had to call my bank and filed for the fraud charge

Shady company is right. The gym is beautiful but they're accounting is super crooked. Randomly charge people all the time. Make it a pain in the *** to get money back when they know it's their fault. Are zero percent responsible when it comes to financials. It's a shame because the gym itself is great.

I love that the gym is open 24 hours. Although they don't have as much equipment as bigger gyms they make up for it with the variety of equipment and spacious layout. This allows you to easily adjust your workout without hurting you goals. Staff is also very friendly.

These guys charged half of their clients a $30 for nothing, claiming it was a mistake. They said to screenshot a picture of a bank statement so they could refund the charge, and to e-mail them. Three weeks later they have still not refunded me or my friends and am starting to think it was on purpose. Shady Company. Stay Away

Let me first start off by saying this: Signature Fitness Club is by far the best gym I have been a part of and had to privilege to use. I have been at different Anytime Fitnesses, LA fitnesses, Lifetimes, you name it... None of them come close to Signature. I have been a member since they opened, and it has been great from the start and has only gotten better over time.
Between the spaciousness, cleanliness, variety and availability of equipment, extremely friendly staff who always greet me by name, cool layout and decor, they are also open 24/7 and are constantly making improvements that I have noticed as well as added more equipment, since the beginning.
If I ever have any questions, I have always felt comfortable to ask someone at the front desk who has either helped me out or asked a trainer who then helped me out. I have never felt so welcomed at a club and this has definitely been helpful and motivating in reaching my fitness goals. On top of that, I love the fact that the group classes are included in the membership- I always had to pay extra for those at the other gyms!
I wanted to say how awesome this gym was and how happy I am to be a part of it; this is the first club that makes me feel like I am part of the family.
With all of that being said, I also noticed some not so nice reviews... One that stuck out to me mentioned that the cable and Wi-Fi were down for 6 months. As I mentioned, being a member and a regular from the beginning (over two years now) the first time I have ever noticed the Wi-Fi being down was recently, and it was only for a few weeks that I noticed. I also noticed that the cable was down for a short period of time (I learned they were in transition of switching providers) but it didn't really affect me or my workouts. So, I'm not sure where this 6 month time period is coming from, but that definitely wasn't the case.
As far as equipment being broken- I have ONLY ever seen a bike that had a "scheduled for maintenance" sign on it ONCE- which I don't think is out of the ordinary at all. As far as the resistance bands being broken or missing, I have to laugh at that one because I know I have been one of the members (sorry!) to have broken one at some point, but I also noticed that Signature gets them replaced pretty regularly.
Lastly, there was recently an Annual Fee that went out & I learned that they actually waived it for the first year, which is super nice of them. I paid annual fees at my other gyms and never noticed any kind of upgrades or improvements, so I would gladly pay an annual fee again with all this gym has to offer.
Signature Fitness Club is definitely one of a kind and Naperville is lucky to have it... Happy to keep being a member and can't wait to see what's to come!
