I really have enjoyed going to this Planet Fitness in the last two years, and it's only gotten better. It is clean, staff is welcoming, and it's a comfortable place to work out. In the last few months, I have worked with the personal trainer Jonathon. He has taught me more about the machines, free lifting, and how to safely get in shape and I've seen real results. He also teaches classes during the day that I've attended. I recommend seeing him and coming to this gym in general. Thank you!

I wish to offer a five-star recommendation for Jesse Sanchez and Planet Fitness Little Village which he manages. I have had the opportunity to visit several Planet Fitness locations in the Chicago area and beyond and I must say that I am most impressed with his. Unlike other locations where there is little control over the behavior of the clients, Jesse has his house in great order. His management is a well oiled machine. It is obvious that his employees enjoy working for him and that he has a definite rapport with them. Everyone has a job to do and they do it well. The workout environment is peaceful and productive. He controls his gym without being overbearing. His management style is firm and yet relaxed. It is a pleasure to work out in his gym. Other managers can sure learn from watching Jesse's style. There is something special going on at Planet Fitness Little Village.

The service here is great. It is always clean and not too crowded. I have the black card membership so i go to workout, tan then enjoy a massage. The hydra beds are AMAZING! Stand up tanning beds give great results. They have lockers and showers. Bike racks available outside which i love because i usually ride my bike here. Convenient location as well.

They get two stars because I went there on a free pass due to restricted transportation. Really though with the candy? I get you don't want to make people "intimidated" but when you say judgement free on the wall, then put a "lunk" alarm on the same wall to call people out for being your definition of a "lunk" it seems pretty contradictory, and rude.

Not as many squat racks or equipment as other locations but they use the space effectively. Good value, good location, plenty of parking.

I have been on and off at this gym over last 3 years. The staff are friendly. The equipment is clean and well maintained. The clientele are nice working folks from all backgrounds.

Seems like a good place to work out but could not sign up. They only let you pay by taking you payment out of your checking account by force each month and that's not cool.

Not a bad gym. Bathrooms could be cleaner. Never too crowded except at night between 6 and 9. No bros eyeing you out. My only complaint: THIS LOCATION DOES NOT HAVE TBE (red light tanning) EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS IT DOES ON THEIR WEBSITE. I was pretty bummed when I found out about this after I got the black card membership. It's pretty much the only reason I got the black card.

This is my favorite PF to go to. The employees are friendly, the spot is always clean, the bathrooms are always clean and stocked, you forever see these people cleaning and restocking. There are always plenty of paper towels and spray. A+ gym!

I enjoyed the nice little set up & did not have any issues not being able to use the clubs equipment. This gym was very clean & the equipment was nice as well.

Love this planet fitness, always clean and organized. The staff are all great people, I got help from Gil, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Also gave me some great workout tips. Awesome gym to go to, with awesome employees, highly recommend it.

Don't usually write reviews, but this really couldn't be ignored. Not a bad place. Just know what they're about before you sign up. The whole "we don't want people who have muscles to scare people who don't"...I get it. If people need that to feel comfortable at the gym, great. Whatever works.
BUT...
This huge space and they have and no benches no squat rack. I'm no body builder or even a particularly big guy, at all. But these are essential to some very key lifts that are a big part of weight training. They have 3 Smith machines, which seemed great. But anyone looking to bench press, military press, bent over row, rack pull, dead lift, squat, or any number of other lifts you do with a free bar, are going to be in line to use them. Even outside of peak hours you are gonna be waiting. Treadmills as far as the eye can see, with no one using them...but if you are lifting you have to wait (and usually a good while).
There is more than enough room in this place. I get they don't want big muscle men intimidating people by working out. But when regular men and women can't get a full workout in because they cut out essential equipment to basically any lifting routine, I think that's pretty silly. 2 benches and a squat rack would SERIOUSLY upgrade an otherwise decent gym. Staff is nice. Members are cool. Just obnoxious having to wait so long everytime or alter my workout. It's to the point where I have to reconsider membership....which sucks.

Black, and very seldom I come to this gym, and when I come I ask you to give me a couple of coins for the masage machines, and they only give me one, and in the machines there are no people.
