They have great facilities, however, they have an indoor track and it seems like every time I go to run on their track, somebody is complaining about people running on the track. There are three lanes, one for walking, one for jogging, and one for running. My complaint is that there are almost always people walking in any of the three lanes, so when I am running and see this happen, I go around them. You can see where the complaints come from. The two seconds I go around them and am running in a different lane. Do yourselves a favor and stop catering to every single person who comes in and whines about people running on a track that was made for it in the designated lane and get the hell out of the wrong lane. If you want to walk so badly and not be bothered by people running, use a treadmill, there's dozens of them.
We were so happy to hear that this place had a kiddie pool. The YMCAs was under construction which was heart breaking for a bunch of todslers (yes ai checked their website and it said nothing, however I should have called too) anyway I do wish the Rec Center had the water fountains and such like the Y but they do make up for it with all the floating balls for the kids to play with. Those balls were probably a bigger hit then the fountains at the Y, with 2 and 3 yesr olds! We had a lofe jacket that was not coast guard approved and the life guard on duty promptly got us another one which was fantastic. However, she talked down to me as if she was talking to a child. I appreciated her prompt effort to make sure my child was safe, but I'm not a two year old and as such do not need to be talked to like one. All in all we had a grest day out here

Very good place to enjoy relaxation, exercise, and a good peace of mind with diverse variety of exercisr equipment to use.
We are so glad this is in Nampa. I have come here for years and my family really enjoys all the varied activities. A favorite is the rock wall and pool.
I love this rec center! They have great equipment and facilities. They are good to repair any faulty equipment in a timely manner.
They close the facilities often to have deep cleaning, which I appreciate. You can bring your own locks for their lockers. The class instructors are great and frequent.
The preschool is wonderful! I've put all my kids in to their classes and the teachers are amazing. They have classes a couple times a week. Your children can still be in the class even if you don't have a rec membership, but a rec membership makes it cheaper.
The prices are so much even for just a couple of hours. Sometimes the staff is nice, sometimes they seem like you are bothering them. Solid 3.
I go here about everyday to play basketball, workout, to swim, or just to go running. I love it here cause it's nice and cool inside, everyone there is really friendly and the staff are too. If you need a place to have some fun, this is the place. The memberships are really cheap and affordable for anyone. I recommend this place for everyone cause it's just an awesome place to go.
This is a nice clean place to work out. As with any gym there are muscle heads to contend with, but overall they keep to their little free weight corner. The pool is nice for the most part, but they hold swim meets there, so expect some days not to be able to use it.

Great place to workout. Equipment is in great shape. Facilities are well maintained.
Pretty dated. They could definitely use a deep clean and coat of paint. Pool was warm and pleasant.

Dropped My 6 year old son of for kids in action to & pick him up of telling me this story of watching 'Ghost Busters" The movie while there for the day. Kind of red flagged me but later on that evening me and my husband was out working in Garden when our son came out crying and yelling from waking from dozing off telling us he was trying to find us and had hard time FIGHT OFF THE GHOST. Well we as parent don't accept our 6 year old to watch PG-13 movies like this at our home NOR DID WE SIGN CONCENT SAYING IT WAS ALRIGHT to watch these....there reply was they had counselors there supervising my son so that gave them permission to WATCH THIS MOVIE WITHOUT OUR DISCRETION!! Well top it off he didn't want to sleep in bed(has never sleep with us in our bed)....My wife slept with him tell am in morning to comfort him that no one was going to get him! well wok up at 5am to him coming in our room scared......Poor management saying there is nothing they can do to help us with the situation they have put us into because at this point we've scheduling him to talk to others about this situation....PS on another note why is My son watching movies PERIOD at the Nampa Rec. Center???

Upstairs from the pool is a sauna, as well as a Turkish bath. Locker rooms are well kept and clean. Gym has a variety of different machines, and people are typically very friendly. Track runs along the upper level with lots of windows, so it gives a nice view to look down on.

At a senior rate that is extraordinary in the industry and a low one time visit pass this place rocks market. Two levels of bike and cardio accessories. Awesome cable and lift room. Plenty of room for mats and individual training with classes daily. Swimming. Sauna and hot tubs. Personal training .....Owned by City Nampa and as so is Community Oriented. A lot of year round activities for family ...children and adults.Outside walk around is free to all. Next to Senior Center in same bldg ........Next to St. Alphonsus on 12th. Area is pletora of shopping and good ol fast food takes. Del Taco !!!!!!

Lots of things to do. The physical therapy there the staff are wonderful could not find better

Excellent facility for the whole family! Has indoor track, pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. Rock wall climbing. Large selection of exercise machines. Group exercise classes. You can also find classes for a large assortment of hobbies as well as trip excursions for the travel enthusiast. Something for everyone and a huge asset to the city of Nampa!
I've been a member for years and love it. If he had toddlers that have to be taken care of while you're working out they have a great program for child care center for very low cost.

Two levels of excellent equipment with swim pools. Tennis. Racquet ball. Free weights and awesome trainers. Pat is a sweet friendly lady with many years experience.
What a great place. Huge with lots of things to do. If you live in the area definitely a great place to do some activities on your own or with the family.
My family was the first one to enter the center when it opened its doors. We were very satisfied with the services provided. My favorite was the pool arthritis class: Twinges in the Hinges. I've been living out of state for awhile but look forward to resuming my membership when I move back.
Nice facility but if you get into financial troubles like a divorce and can't fulfill your two year contract they charge you for duration (which is hundreds of dollars) and require you to pay it in order to begin a new contract once you've gotten back on your feet. It's sad how endorsed by the city ends up being another business who wants money for nothing...all just so that you can lead a healthier life. It's best to invest in second hand weight sets that and body weight workouts which can't seek to financially "rape" you or your family.

Great place for the kids, for keeping fit, and anything in between! I rate a four because I have seen a lot better, but I have also seen alot worse! It is a bit too steep on price but overall decent place to be!
