My family loves Legacy ATA Martial Arts. Our Legacy journey started over four years ago when my oldest daughter wanted to try a new activity. Within the very first week I could tell how well structured and professionally ran Legacy ATA was. Mr. and Mrs. Neitzell are the owners and head instructors at Legacy ATA and it is very apparent that they pour the hearts and souls into teaching everyone.
They also have an excellent staff of young professional instructors that make learning fun while still enforcing the core values, Discipline, Self esteem, Communication, Respect, Belief and Honesty.
Completing the staff and keeping everything in order is Vanessa. When you have questions regarding gear, tournaments, testing, you name it, she has the answer for you.
Since enrolling my eldest daughter in Legacy ATA my middle daughter joined the next year and then me and my youngest joined a year after that. I am very pleased with everything my family is learning and how the core values they teach at Legacy are the same values I have been teaching my daughters.
It wasn't long after starting ATA that we starting meeting some of the other children, their parents and forming new friendships. Anymore it's like visiting extended family every time where down there.
With all the craziness in this world I wouldn't want my daughters learning anything else right now. I am an over protective parent but seeing how my daughters handle themselves during practice, self defense and at tournaments I feel a little more at ease because I know they can handle themselves.
I could go on and on about everything Legacy ATA has done for my family but as they say the proof is in the punch. If you are interested you should at least show up and watch a class to see what it's all about.

We love this studio. Our son started 4 years ago as a Tiger and he is a few months shy of obtaining his black belt. The instructors are amazing and have taught him so much more than just martial arts. He has learned discipline, respect, self esteem and how to be a leader. He has started the phase of becoming an instructor at just 8 years old and is able to help train the tiny Tigers as a SWAT leader. Definitely give this place a try!!!
This is by far the BEST martial arts studio in the valley. The owners, instructors, staff, students and parents are amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure your child is learning and growing.
My son has been going for 2 years and he started out shy and quiet with little confidence. Now, he walks with his head held high, he's confident, he's proud and he's made some pretty incredible friends too.

One of the best programs and owners around. They have been instrumental in turning our grandson into an amazing young man. He had come to live with us with issues that seemed overwhelming. They took on a personal interest in his transformation. We plan to see him continue their program for as many years as he wants. Right now he has big plans! They are one of the most positive influences in our lives. We thank them with all of our heart.
Great for kids, great for adults. The ATA program is fantastic for kids. I knew the Neitzels long before I had kids and thought the program was good. Then I had kids and realize the program was great. My son has been enrolled for 2.5 years and has earned his black belt. Along the way he gained knowledge, confidence, and a bunch of ATA friends. Now he is participating in the leadership program which teaches things all adults should know but most don't seem to. Now his favorite activity is getting to help teach the younger kids the things he's learned.
Don't forget the adults. Whether you prefer ATA, kickboxing, or Krav Maga you'll get a good workout, learn some skills, and make friends.

My daughter loves this school. My son can't wait until he is old enough to join. I love that the kids who have earned their black belts help teach. My kids look up to them and see that they can do it too. It is one thing seeing an adult with their black belt- but seeing kids just a little older then them with black belts keeps them excited and ready to do their best.

We have trained with this school for the past 5 years and I couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The instructors are amazing at training my two children to be leaders. Not only do my kids learn discipline and self control, they have SO much fun doing it.
We've been going almost two years now. I am educator and I only had to watch about 10 minutes before I knew the Neitzels were amazing coaches who are consistent, passionate and 100% committed to their students and this program. My four boys are a handful and I am so grateful for the character building, structure and discipline training they receive at Meridian ATA. Add in the amazing Vanessa that keeps everyone on track and talented junior leaders, and you have a great experience for your kids to learn respect, courtesy, athleticism and leadership.
For starters, we have tried lots of different activities for our kids that involved dance, soccer, t-ball, football, and gymnastics over the last several years! No one has compared to Meridian ATA. They have welcomed us into their family! They are by far the best martial arts studio in the valley! They have not only taught our kids confidence, but life skills to manage everyday life. Our kids have a blast and learn so much every class!
Extremely impressive martial arts school! The instructors are phenomenal. All of them work so well with the kids and they do an outstanding job teaching respect and obedience for their parents and caregivers/teachers. They encourage the kids to excel not only in martial arts but in school and any other parts of their life or activities they participate in, and often times will try to shop up and cheer them on! It's more than just a martial arts school, it's a family!
