I am not sure of the instructors name today but he was amazing. Very helpful & encouraging. I really enjoyed the class. I strolled away with a blissful smile. What a great way to vacation.
This is an Amazingly beautiful location with the best yoga teachers one could ask for - I have attended regularly over many years as a community member and am so grateful for these beach yoga sessions in Waikiki that allow me and others to take a good present moment pause and realize how grateful I am to be alive.
I brought my 2, 8 year old boys to Sunset Beach Yoga with Yogi Liz last night while on vacation. After such a whirlwind of activities, this was the perfect way to calm ourselves at the end of the day. Liz was very responsive to the group and her voice was soothing enough for 2 over active boys. Not to mention the gorgeous scene. It was a truly beautiful and magical experience for all of us. Thank you!
What a big adventure! I started off in Waikiki for Morning Beach Yoga and it was my first time doing any Yoga class. I enjoyed the experience and I could follow along easy to the instructions. Doing this right at the beach with the waves and beautiful morning light and sounds was amazing. It was an awesome way to start the day.
Next I went on a rugged hike into the Jungle. The sights and sounds were amazing. There were so many new things that I have not seen before such as the Shy Grass that folds up when touched. Karen was very good as our tour guide and I really enjoyed the Yoga done in the valley. There were small discussions on mindfulness and other topics that really made the journey not just one of the body but also of the mind. I enjoyed every aspect of it. The waterfall spot was MUCH better than Moana Falls, so that's worth it right there.
The hike was full of bamboo mazes, mud, and rock jumping and climbing. It's not terrible difficult, but you will get a little work out and you should wear water shoes or hiking shoes that you don't mind get really muddy. If you're looking for a real Hawaii Adventure, then definitely go on this hike with your group. It's going to be a lot of fun and much more than you expected.

By far my favourite yoga experience.Such a fantastic environment to be in with Karen & her team, who truly excel in their practice. No matter what level you're at, they'll leave you feeling comfortable but still challenged. They'll also give you some knowledge so you can grow on your own as well, which is great for a tourist like me. A definite recommendation to anyone nearby.

A fantastic morning yoga session this past Tuesday :) great instructions in the email on how to find the meeting spot, and more importantly a very well run session by a very knowledgeable and kind instructor!!

I hate yoga in general, but I LOVE doing THIS yoga. There's something magical about being outdoors amongst a small group of really cool people who are also finding their zen, in the tropical ocean breeze and synching your breath to the waves and the sun setting in front of you. That's my idea of enjoyable yoga. I've previously done every type of yoga- sweating it out in hot yoga rooms, doing hardcore poses that make my body hurt for days, feeling terrible as I look around and everyone else is an upside down pretzel and I can't touch my toes. Sunset Yoga is not that. Sunset Yoga makes me feel so GOOD during and after. It a complete mood boost for me. The focus on breath work is key to that, and I don't think many other places do that. The instructors are great. Very gently and welcoming and non-intimidating. They will adjust you if you need pointers and offer modifications. If you are thinking about attending this class, DO IT! You won't regret it.

I took a mini escape to Hawaii to decompress after a stressful year end and craved a healing yoga experience and this was wonderful. Instructor Mizuho W was not just prompting the next posture, she lead us thru our session with great detail and hands-on posture correction. I could tell I was in the hands of an instructor educated beyond yoga practice. It was an impressive session to have Mizuho teach in both Japanese, English and using Sanskrit simultaneously, so beautiful. Thank you also to Karen the company manager for helping me find her! People....gather at the bougavilla trellis left of red umbrellas. Don't wander, they will find you.

As a prior tourist to Oahu, I used this yoga class to recover from jet lag. As a current resident, I use the class to experience the island's beauty.
The instructors always ask for input about the students' experience levels to tailor the class.
If the instructor takes photos, they are usually posted to their Facebook page within a few days.
We once had a sunset accompanied by a far-offshore thunderstorm, with lightning bouncing between the clouds and ocean.
Sunset was amazing. They take pics the whole time and then tell you that if you give them a good review they will send the pics... and they never do. I would have gotten up and taken a picture myself if I had known that this would be the case.
Definitely use groupon and go for a 5 or 10 pack of classes. The sunset is relaxing and the teachers are great.
We had a wonderful trip. Valerie was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the island. She brought us to many wonderful places that were not listed on any of the tour books. I did not do the yoga, but my wife and daughter did and they seemed to enjoy the sessions. The yoga sessions were not long or intensive. They served as primers for your own yoga practice at a later time on your trip. Overall, it was an excellent trip.
Thank you!
While looking for activities to do on my first trip to Hawaii, I found Sunset Yoga and decided to try morning yoga by the beach and the jungle hike. Karen was very knowledgeable, teaching us about the native plants and mindfulness, and I got to experience a side of Hawaii that I might not have been able to on my own. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
