I absolutely love Tonchu Decatur! Their classes are always fun, and their instructors are professional. The classes are awesome for people of all ages, so I recommend it to everyone I know. I have had the pleasure of learning from Master Johnson for many years now, and I have grown tremendously because of it. From quitting bad habits to, of course, getting in great condition, Tonchu can do it all. GOSU!
I only went here for a birthday party, but they were great with the first grade boys and girls. Patient, fun and opened their eyes to something new.

Tonchu Martial Arts is a fantastic school. My two sons started nearly a year ago and I have been consistently impressed. The instructors are highly dedicated not only to training the kids in martial arts but also to teaching the importance of perseverance, hard work, courtesy and respect. They are excellent role models and the kids really look up to them. I especially appreciate the Tonchu approach to building students' confidence: there are no empty rewards, but meaningful recognition of hard work and achievement. I am really glad we decided to join the school - it's been a great experience!

Tonchu Martial Arts is the real deal. A traditional martial arts academy with a well-developed, vast curriculum, applied by some of the most talented martial artists I've ever met. Fantastic for students of any age with any personal, physical, or aspirational goal. I recommend without hesitation!

They emphasize dedication, respect, and responsibility as well as other character traits that are important for not only children but adults the same. Their staff has years of experience and are dedicated to their students in a way that sets them apart from other martial arts schools. They want their students successful not only in the school but outside the school in every aspect of their lives!

If you are looking for a place to study martial arts, you have found it! The staff is skilled and engaging. They are also great with kids. They works with parents to help identify your child's goals and work with them to achieve them. I can't say enough wonderful things if you are looking for a more casual experience (just classes) to studying more seriously (competing); they will guide you either way!
