I started taking class at Barre3 Buckhead about 8 months ago and it was the best decision! I started out slowly and then progressed to taking classes 5 days per week. The 6am classes are my favorite way to start the day. The classes are challenging enough to keep you dripping sweat, but still make you feel graceful and poised. The instructors are incredibly sweet and supportive, always willing to push you further or help you modify. I'll be relocating in the next few months and will miss Barre3 Buckhead but will never stop taking classes with Barre3!

I've been a Barre3 member and fan for the last 2.5 years -- it's my happy place! After moving closer to the city, I switched to the South Buckhead location. I was thrilled that the studio was just as great as my previous one. Give Barre3 a try, you won't regret it!

Educated, experienced and trained instructors are part of what makes this studio my favorite. Each class has a bit of everything - strength training, cardio, stretching. In my 200 plus classes taken, I have never been disappointed - and I always leave feeling a little stronger (and very sweaty!). The instructors are involved and interested in each class participant - they check in with everyone making sure each client is getting what they need out of the workout. Truly one of the Best in Atlanta!!!!!! Support your local studio!!

Barre 3 is the BEST head to toe, fat burning & toning, workout around. It's fun yet challenging, and the instructors are motivating & experienced. I have seen such a change in my body (and spirit) since becoming a member! Highly recommend it for anyone looking to shake up their current workout regime entirely, or add on to what they are doing.

In April 2015 I started at Barre3 about 5 weeks before my wedding. Disclaimer, I HATE working out. I'm jealous of the girls who love it. BUT, Barre3 caught my attention because of the use of the ballet barre. I have always loved to dance and even though I knew this was nothing like dance, it lured me in to try it out. I knew for my wedding I wanted to be toned. After just 4 weeks of Barre3 I felt better than I had in years!

After the wedding, I'm reluctant to admit that I stopped going to Barre3. It wasn't until January of this year (2017) I made the time to incorporate Barre3 into my schedule again because my health became even more important to me. Let me tell you, the women at Barre3 South Buckhead are rockstars! Not only are the coaches top notch and super motivating but the women who come to the classes (I've see a few men, too!) are a delight! Starting out the New Year with the B3 All In program was really great accountability for me. Jessica quickly became my favorite in-class instructor as she does a great job of keeping everyone smiling (YES, smiling) while participating AND she really made me feel comfortable as she helped coach us through adjustments to make to get the most out of our time in the class. But, my favorite thing about Jessica is the way she says, "Good morning, Lindsay," EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I come in! Hillary is another one of my favorites as her energy and smile make me WANT to get out of bed at 5:30am to get to class because I know she'll call me by name during class and greet me with joy. And finally, today something happened that made me want to leave this review. Lindsay is an instructor (who I later came to realize lives across the condo community from me). I had seen her about 2 weeks ago in our neighborhood and told her I had had some medical issues this month and a major project at work that had stopped me from making time for Barre3. BUT... y'all... when I walked into Barre3 this morning for the first time in 4 weeks, this is what I heard from Lindsay, "Good morning! It's so good to see you back. How are you feeling? How was your presentation last week?" THIS made all the difference. This isn't a gym, people. This is a community of people who want to be the best versions of themselves possible, and a community of people who encourage others to do the same.

Thanks, Barre3 for making a girl who hates working out, want to wake up (way too early) before work to come take care of her body! :)

barre3 Atlanta South Buckhead is phenomenal. The barre3 workout is truly a total-body workout. I've done spin classes, zumba, gym memberships, and running -- and all of those things are wonderful workouts -- but I've never had the kind of results from those like I have from barre3.

I started at the end of July, and since then, I've lost weight, gained flexibility, and have improved posture. My entire body is toned-- I feel muscles in my arms and legs that I didn't even know I had.
I sleep better and I have none of the aches and pains I used to deal with.

The staff is amazing -- every instructor is kind, genuine, and extremely skilled to lead class with your personal well-being in mind. This studio is warm, welcoming, fun, and relaxing. Each instructor takes time to be aware of the needs of your body, and they offer all kinds of modifications to make sure you are taking the best care of yourself. I love the community I have at this studio and the people I get to share life with through this amazing workout.

My experience with Barre3 began with their online program. I would combine the online workouts with my regular running program. When I found out that a local studio was opening in Atlanta, I was excited to try it as I had visited other barre company studios in the area previously. I can say with absolute certainty that the Barre3 Atlanta South Buckhead studio is the best in the area!!! Even if you aren't local to Atlanta, I highly recommend looking for a studio close to you. The studio itself is warm and inviting with the signature bright orange, rustic reclaimed wood wall and cool/bright accents that are the perfect backdrop for the start to your experience. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable in the barre3 discipline and each have their own unique teaching style that makes each class not only challenging but interesting. I can't say that I have a favorite instructor as I have always thoroughly enjoyed each of their classes. The class itself is a 60 minute total body workout that engages the core for the full 60 minutes while utilizing a three step process of an isometric hold, small movement and large movements to flush the muscle group. I have noticed such a change in my body in terms of not only weight loss but more importantly inches lost, muscle gained and a strength in my mind, body, spirit connection. No matter your fitness level, age etc., the Barre3 workout has something to offer for your journey to better physical and mental health!!!

In the Fall of 2013 I had never heard of Barre3 until a lifelong friend invited me to a community class being held at a local Athleta store. I had been out late the night before and pretty much dragged myself in to take the class. When the hour was over, I knew I'd be back for more. I attended almost every community class Barre3 held until their studio in South Buckhead was ready. I now attend class 4-6 times a week. I feel wonderful and love the positive changes happening to my body. I previously paid for sessions with a personal trainer at my old gym, but when he left I found myself in a workout rut. That rut has ended with Barre3. Each class is challenging. The instructors are wonderful! They each have their own strengths, so by taking classes with various instructors each week I truly push myself in each class. The instructors offer modifications for each position, so any fitness level can take a class. For some reason I thought Barre3 would get easier with time, but it doesn't. I say that in the best possible way. You are always challenging your muscles to go deeper and find more strength. You are reminded that it is a group class, but a personal workout and to not worry about what your neighbor is doing. I love that. I have met some wonderful people in class and look forward to sweating and laughing with them. But my fitness goals are different from theirs, so I must focus on myself during class. This is my time I set aside to make myself stronger, not just physically, but mentally too. I highly recommend taking a class and seeing what Barre3 is all about.

I cannot say enough good things about this studio! Everyone is always friendly, happy and smiling. No matter how tired I am at the end of a work day, I leave a class feeling happier and more energized. And the workouts totally kick my bum!! I highly suggest swinging by for a class! :)
