Our family considers Cheer Tampa our second home! There is not another place that my girls would rather be. This will begin our second year with the gym and we are excited for the upcoming season.
The staff is just amazing and have bonded with both my girls. They look forward to running in and giving hugs to each coach every day! The coaches work with every child to ensure they are working to their fullest potential. The amount a pride I feel as a mom when they hit the competition stage is overwhelming. Without the coaches and staff, it would not come together the way it does.
The gym owner is one of a kind! She is always willing to listen to anything and will assist in any way she can, whether it be the kids needing something or the parents. I have never walked away not having the information I was looking for.
I would not hesitate to recommend Cheer Tampa to any upcoming cheerleader. It doesn't matter your skill level, everyone is welcome here and treated like a star!
My daughter was an Allstar Cheerleader At Cheer Tampa for 8 years and attended several years of Summer Camp. The coaching staff is extremely qualified and my child was treated with respect and love from all. She was challenged year after year and achieved every goal set for her by her coaches. As she now moves on to High School her many successes can be attributed to her spending 5 days a week for many years at Cheer Tampa. It was her other home and they are her family. I have watched many kids grow up in this gym and they have become responsible adults, parents and coaches themselves.
We were appalled with the lack of professionalism and treatment of our 8 yr old daughter on 6/17/13, her first day of camp by a Cheer Tampa coach. He was so impatient and verbally abusive that we did not send her back the rest of the week! We approached the manager regarding this matter and were told they have a NO refund policy regardless of the mistreatment on the part of their staff.
Cheer Tampa Inc. is ignorant of their responsibility in dealing with children. We have never had this experience anywhere else and highly recommend you choose an alternate, more positive environment for your child!
