Nice atmosphere, low lighting, lots of cardio machines, and friendly staff.
This is a very poorly run gym. I normally go at night. The staff at night is very unfriendly, and they blatantly ignore you when you enter. If you try to order a shake, you will be overcharged every time. This is a guarantee. The people who actually work out there are rather hostile, and belligerent. The bathrooms smell putrid. I found the general environment to be vain, and narcissistic with very uncaring/apathetic staff. When you try to cancel, you have to go there at a certain time and speak with the manager. So, if you work during the day, it can be difficult to get there before this person leaves. If you want to experience the many inherent benefits of exercise in a peaceful environment without vapid, sometimes openly hostile people, try another gym. The staff won't care one iota if you leave either way.
I was going to get membership through my insurance, and man at the front desk, was very rude told me to see a "sales" person. The "sales" girl had those airpod headphones in her ears the whole time and was more concerned about flirting with the personal trainer near her desk than helping me. She then told me to go back to the rude front desk man. I waited for help but she ignored me and no one said anything for around 15 minutes, so I left and will not be going back there ever again.
These people are thieves. I cancel my membership do to surgery I had. I was not under contract. After I went in and signed cancellation papers they continued to bill me for 6 months. Somehow they conveniently lost my cancellation papers. They refused to offer any refund even for the current month that had just posted the same day. If you cancel your membership get it in writing because they never offered me it in writing.
So, when i got outof the service, I joined this gym, formerly known as Golds gym. They offered me a military VIP enrollment in which I was allowed to bring my wife to work out for one price. Now 10 years later, a new owner took over and they have decided to eliminate the military VIP offer and are requiring my spouse to enroll in a monthly plan. Thank you Palm Beach Sport Club for looking out for those of us that looked out for you and your families during diffiicult times..

Clean equipment and lots of available assistance cool temp would recommend bringing teenager here if you have a teen and want them in shape too

I'm not gym rat, but when I come here I feel accomplished and I enjoy the atmosphere. Desk personnel are friendly. No one causes issues. Good facility.

Zach is the best trainer. I have trained with a few others but I am seeing results with Zach. The gym is clean which is important. State of the art equipment.

Last time, I gave gold's gym 5 stars. I have to edit this and give the gym 1 star for the following reasons:
I brought up to management's attention of how an instructor was cheating on her time sheet. There were no students and there were 5 on the sheet. This was done not only once but a few times. The new activity director (letter) M said, " dumb teacher, she should have put numbers in there, so she can get paid!" I added, "like the way you cheated on your class".
I brought up to their attention the exercise equipment falling apart at group class, dirty restroom/shower stalls, inadequate / burned out light bulbs, dirty group class room. I also ran into an issue of walking out of the new teacher's class because of the loud hard core rap music and screaming voice. After all, we were told, we can leave anytime as long as we don't disturb the class. I left and also left 4 points written constructive criticisms. I had a meeting with M and I was accused of bullying the new teacher. Then she screamed at me, forbid me from talking to teachers, students or anybody in the gym. She also added " since you're not happy with gold's gym, I think it's time for you to go somewhere else. "
The new teacher and I had a talk and we settled our differences, and she felt I didn't bully her at all and was thankful for the feedback I gave her. She was also thankful for me making the flyers for her and asking other students to attend her class. I told her she's not the only one who got feed back. I'm very fair to everyone!
I emailed a complaint of how I was screamed at and treated by M, and the manager said , " it's unfortunate that you feel it was harsh but I think it was appropriate. Apparently, bringing up feedback from other students and myself was considered " overbearing"!
Whether M is upset I quit attending her class long time ago, I gave her my feedback which includes other students feedback. But she can't force me to attend classes I don't like!
There are still very good, friendly staff in that gym, but I think the owner needs to evaluate the management for the betterment of the members and the gym.
follow up- I have decided to leave the gym, not renew my membership. That day I was harassed by the staff, cleaning lady and one of the teachers! Then I got an email that they're cutting my membership short! and yes they can and will do that- be a month or months- they will cut your membership if they decided they don't like you!

The best real gym in Port Saint Lucie. Well maintained. Great staff. Excellent prices.
I have been a member of this Gold's for about 2 years. I enjoy the staff, Unfortunately, due to physical issues I have not attended in months...I was thinking of switching to another gym. I compared reviews on both and have decided to stay with Golds. Keep in mind all gyms must push for members, contracts, training sessions. That is how they stay in business..... I found Gold's to be less intrusive and were very helpful....Jake is my trainer and I absolutely enjoy my sessions with him....

There was once a time when I was kicked out for falsely being accused for training people with no evidence to prove that so I was skeptical about coming back. But I must give credit where credit is due the staff is MUCH BETTER. There is one in particular that really stands out and his name is BARRY. he is very friendly helpful and polite. He always seems to be in a good mood and greets everyone every day. He is always re racking weights and going the extra mile for the members. He even gave me a coupon for chipotle and gave me a golds gym wrist band. These kind acts really make difference in my opinion of this gym. BARRY consistently amazes me with his customer service skills and he definitely deserves the credit.
Great gym with a homey feel. Good classes and well maintained. Just got new larger TV.

Good local gym solid equipment. It's in great location for places to eat as well as movie theather, laser tag, and bowling alley nearby.
