Excellent experience! Great staff, equipment and atmosphere. The gym facilities are clean, staff is professional and personable, with a nice weight room and extra amenities. Even the music is good.

It doesn't feel competitive. You can come in, in any shape and not feel intimidated. Plus the trainers will work with you or let you go at your own pace.

Counter workers rarely greet customers due to being on phone, and were not informative during registration. Management is terrible with customer service. I prefer the other Planet Fitness facilities in the area and will transfer membership to one of those instead.

I come to this Planet Fitness because it's clean and the staff are friendly and professional. Edlyne/Eddy is the absolute bomb!! She brings her A game to every session every day and she knows her stuff! I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a true total body workout. I look forward to my workouts because of her.

I choose to go here rather than the other gyms that are much closer to my house because: it's clean, the staff is friendly, it's open 24/7, and machines are always available when I go. Reading the reviews from other local gyms, this place is unique to have it all together....oh yeah, and the parking lot is well lit at night and there are usually cops parked in the lot....I should point out that they dont have "free weight" bench-presses or squat racks. Everything is pretty much cable-operated, save for the dumbells and kettlebells. Really, if you are that serious about lifting, then I highly recommend joining a smaller, local gym where you'll be surrounded with guys that eat, sleep, breathe heavy-lifting. National chain gyms like PF are more for people that want to stay in shape, look fit, and/or just feel healthy. It's not people looking to brag about benching 500lbs and dying at 38 years old from a heart-attack.

Planet Fitness sets themselves apart! Massage seats and rooms. More equipment and fair pricing make this a viable gym for those interested in fitness and relaxation to recover. Would highly recommend.

Nice variety of equipment. I prefer coming during the hours when no one is here, but there's usually plenty of space on equipment. There's not that much space to do body workouts though.

I joined at this location in May of 2016. During my visits, I have always found this location to be clean and inviting. It is truly a non-judgement zone!
There is an old saying: "Employees can make you or break a business." The staff greets you when entering and says "goodbye" as well.
There is one special employee (Megan) who always greets each member with smile and by NAME. As a frequent customer, I look forward to seeing her smiling face and positive attitude when I visit! She's always jovial and very business-like! Yes! An employee can be both!
I hope that the PF organization appreciates her as she does bring value to the company!

I love this gym. Its way cheaper than later fitness and I like the layout better. Better newer equipment, less people, plus they have the massage beds/chairs

Outstanding gym.. Great trainers & staff higly recommend them.. There open 24 hrs.. They have tanning booths hydro massage tables..And next door to them they have Utopia Juice bar an amazing acai bowl all began goods too. It's a win win..

This PF is pretty small in relativity to other locations in the area. Locker rooms were pretty clean too. The machines were kind of gross though and there was trash everywhere.

The type people utilizing the gym seems to depend on what time of day you go; seniors and mature adults vs employed professionals vs younger and college age types, but regardless, it's never so crowded that you have to wait around for machines or equipment.
The full rate I currently pay is like $21.99 a month and includes unlimited tanning (they have lay-down & stand-up beds & never a wait & no appointment needed), as well as the big nice massage chairs and hydro-massage beds. The chairs and beds are located in a separate part of the facility, almost like a spa, so it's not like you're in an actual gym in that section.
Plus I understand they have either on-staff or outside (nit sure) personnel acheduled at different times daily to assist those who want or need it, with exercize programs. I don't know how closely those trainers work with you or if they are exclusive to one person or groups because I have not used that yet, but it's a nice amenity nonetheless.

Only good thing about this planet fitness is that it is close! No one there seems to know what the hell they are doing. You watch people do one set and get on there phone for 10 minutes. This place is full of disrespectful people that wanted to find a cheap gym to go to with their jeans and work boots on! Do not like smith machines and most of all gym douches. But like I said the only reason I go is that it is close to home unfortunately. Wish it was a golds or world gym!

Erica is the most knowledgeable person and extremely respectful to all clients at Pompano Beach Planet Fitness. Have been a member for last two years and that was the best decision I made.
I am glad gym is open seven days a week. No reason not to work out. The entire team including the trainers are awesome.

The team here is absolutely amazing. May, Meagan, Albert and Brian have all been so great to me. May even had a special impact on my life, as she found my wallet in the parking lot, and secured it for me until I could come by to pick it up. Her gesture saved me countless hours of stress and inconvenience just by simply taking 3 minutes out of her day to do the right thing. Now that's UNITY, ya'll!! it begins with u.n.i.

I was originally with LA Fitness - the price of membership is low however I also feel many of the clubs are lacking in maintenance and overall care. Crunch is great - a very well run operation - but a bit over my budget. PF was a perfect compromise. I love that it is open 24-7. A huge plus for me. Not the best place for body builders, but for standard routine fitness you have everything you need and rarely ever have to wait for a machine. Have never seen the place more than 30% full.

Excellent value, clean space, plenty of parking. I appreciated that they had paper towels and cleaner relatively close to all the equipment. We visited on a Monday night after Easter for the first time, around 7:30pm and it wasn't too busy.

First gym I actually enjoy going to. The staff are very nice and attentive. Love working out with Vincent, he's the trainer. Definitely recommend everyone to take his classes.

As soon as I walked in the door I noticed there was garbage on a table and the floors were also dirty with garbage. I was not acknowledged and had to scan my own black card. The locker area and ladies room was dirty the carpet looked as if it had never been vaccumnned. I am proud to say my home location is coconut creek and highly recommend everyone visit. Any time of day it is spotless and I am greeted with good morning afternoon evening and a smile on my way out I'm told have a nice day evening night whichever is appropriate at the time.
