terrible place! they are not professionals! They do not work ethically or morally! just try to steal your money! When I went to cancel my registration, there was no way, but I canceled! And already canceled, a week later they still debited some money from my credit card ... can you believe it? imediamebte I called the bank! They are thieves! Don't be angry! Do not enroll in this academy! They will only steal your money and are not professional! It seems like they don't even want to work on top!
Way better than before. The new Manager is always checking in on all the members to make sure all is good and is constantly re-racking. Much more polished gym then before. Great job, great gym.
Was just renovated and they added a section with kettle bells, ropes, bosus, medicine balls etc. Really find this area useful for when I want to do a workout with weights but need more space to move around than is in the weight room.
great gym, great space. People can make more effort to help client and the little store inside the gym is more then ridiculous.
The bar corner is very efficient with many options. Overall very good!
I recommend you to go at this gym in the morning or at night. Never between 5 or 6 pm is always crowded at that time.
This is and average gym. Is call la fitness in order to charge you more but if you budget is limited, there is a lot of better opssions for less money.
The worst gym i've been in my Life! The manager Carlos Valdivia gave us the worst costumer service ever!! Guys don't ever waste your time and money going to this gym!

Gym with good equipment, tons of plates and barbells, dumbbells going up to 125LB, and one side of the gym you have machines while the other side free weights. If you know how to lift, if you want to workout, you can find everything you need in this place. Even if you want to mess around and work your social skills you can, just leave the F equipment alone so other people can use it. But again, a problem in every gym, not only this one. The same with the weights all over the place. It's more a problem with the customers than the staff. Same applies with cleaning the machines after use. Nobody does it.
The only thing that I would say against it is that giving away towels doesn't make it Signature. This Signature label should be scrapped out from the sign, this is a regular gym that gives away towels. Other LAs have pools, racquetball courts, basketball courts, and they don't call themselves signature.

I hate this gym !! It sucks because the location is close to everything i need it for. But going here is the most horrible experience i can have. The people are super up tight. You feel threatened by the employees they stare at you as if they want to kill you. The trainers are nice. And helpful. The womens lockers room have very old cushion seats that should be replaced , not enouph free weights as well , It feels like a flea market purchased the equipment here. The staff makes you feel like your bothering them. And it smells BAD in there ,I've been to several locations in FL. And this one resembles a flea market for sure. Wow.

Disgusting gym , disgusting and rude employees , janitors harass the members , bathrooms smell, staff at the front desk is RUDE and unproffessional. Janitors scream in the bathroom like a prison knock on the doors while me and my friends are getting ready showers are filthy. TOWELS HAVE HAIR ON THEM , Managers are anaware of everything going on. Machines are all working only pro .weights are scattered everywhere as well. And juice bar staff are the only nice and welcoming people in this facility and there not even from the LA fitness brand. Disgusting at its finest. I called and spoke to a manager a week ago about all of this . How i felt uncomfortable in the womens locker room after the janitors are in and out SCREAMING and harassing the members like a boot camp. Let me give the management a heads up, this is an expensive gym therefore your members should receive atleast a human being experience, you know with respect and morals, i go to this gym and leave more stressed out then when i entered because the employees make your experience this way, Please take care of this. And hire new staff for your FRONT desk. Theres one guy who is very RUDE and always seems upset when people Who "PAY" to go to this place. Weekends are the only days the employees are actually "nice" and "welcoming" and not bothered to see anyone. Disgusting customer service.

this gym is very nasty by far dirtiest gym I've ever been too. they don't clean the locker-room at all or the showers they do some have ass'd clean that's a joke & don't even get me started on the odor throughout the gym.. i see the same dirt at spots in the gym that never get cleaned same dirt marks since i been there (3 months) especially the showers its mind boggling . I'm just stuck because its the most convenient gym to where i live and hours i work but its terrible no exaggeration its a dirty gym if you have options don't choose this one

I would be embarrassed to call this gym A "Signature" Club. It has to be one of the nastiest gym's I've worked out in. I'm curious to know if any employees have cleaned in any area of this gym. Bench padding crumbling apart. No one replaces weights where they belong. It needs some serious attention to cleaning. If your employees are not responsible for the cleaning or up keep of the gym. You need to hire people in that will turn this gym into that LA Fitness "Signature" Club that it should be. As of now it is sadly disappointingly disgusting.

This is the most disgusting LA fitness location I've ever seen. Went for the first time this weekend 02/17/18. LA Fitness generally speaking is a very crappy mediocre fitness facility. The equipment is junk, locations are too small for the amount of users. But this specific location at Mary brickell is FILTHY. Disgusting. The smell is horrendous. The equipment is outdated and over used. Dumbells don't even match.
It is a disgrace that The USA is so far behind in fitness and wellness. We do not have a high quality 24 hour training facility. Not to mention, people is filthy here. Probably less than 1% take a shower before going to the gym.
Countries like Brazil that are supposedly less developed than the USA, is light years ahead in fitness, wellness, bodybuilding, training infrastructure. Their facilities are pristine and always available for the healthy individual.

Heard a lot of mixed opinions about this place. Joined a couple months ago.
First, weight room is good. At times crowded but even then, you can get your workout with no delay. People here really come to train.
Second, smells are not good. It's usually "warm" and kinda funky... Def. Takes time to get used to.
Third, the staff.... oh, the staff... a couple of nice people.... but mostly rude, unhelpful, unfriendly people.
Here's a thing.. I usually (for the last 2 years) pay for personal training.. here, in 2 months I have yet to have direct contact or a conversation with a PT at this place....
It's just amazing...
After I read the reviews about Sauna, and men's room I must confess.. I NEVER go there.. knowing how bad it smells outside and how "clean" the location is...
For $40.00 a month..i get to use the weights and go home.

Terrible gym! Tried cancelling our membership 3 times and manager was never there. Hours for cancellation are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. HOW are we to go in person during normal office/business hours if we have a full time job?
Front Desk associate took down our information and guaranteed the membership would be cancelled! It's 3 months later and I'm still getting charged! Beyond ridiculous!!!! If you signed up and need to cancel good luck!!!! Going to need to dispute charges with my credit card company now. I will never sign up with them again.

Worst gym experience I have ever had. They claim to be an LA fitness "signature club", but its the complete opposite. Gym machines are ALL old and over used. Don't even bother going to the dumbbell weight rack, finding your weight is a hassle. Staff doesn't even bother to make sure everything is in the right place. Bathrooms are very unhygienic and are not cleaned regularly, and staff is extremely unhelpful. Once you sign the contract they stop treating you well! Cancelling the membership is near to impossible. The only way may be by claiming a dispute with your bank. I seriously recommend not to waste your time and money at the this gym.

A. I signed up for a two month membership after one of the managers said I could "easily cancel anytime." Little was I informed that you have to cancel FIVE days before the billing cycle of the month. The people there are either incompetent or don't have moral or ethical bounds.
B. Every new membership supposedly comes with a free personal training session. I scheduled one with "Jeff" who failed to show up on a Sunday morning at 10 am. Rescheduled for next Sunday. Once again Jeff failed to show up!
Seriously I know the price is not terrible but the gym is. The minute you walk in the pressure begins to sign you up with a membership. Guest pass so you can try the gym? Forget that let's get you a membership this way when you actually see how trash the gym is it will be too late. Poor machine selection and organization. It is just bad. Step it up la fitness. Charge more, idk but quit stacking the money and not upgrading the clubs.
