I have friends who had a membership here and went consistently for two months, and had killer bodies from doing Jose Marti Gym workouts everyday! They told me they found it hard to stay in shape after they moved and had to cancel their membership. Seeing from their experience, it's clear that Jose Marti Gym method works if you come consistently!

I come to play basketball most Wednesdays .I love it. I like the competition is amazing. I love it here
I'm not a resident from the area, but the people are very nice. The place looks clean and spacious. The outdoor basketball court is under the bridges. It's well shaded. I actually had fun playing basketball indoors. The floor is well kept that my Kyrie's flytrap had a great grip; allowed me to explode for maximum speed. AC is top notch-- I barely lost any stamina while playing hard in the court.
The weight room is at the 1st floor, indoor basketball at the 2nd. That's cool to me.
Day pass is $3 for residents, $7 for non residents. You can even borrow their ball in exchange for your i.d.
Parking is free outside.

You get a good value for your $. Easily, you could pay 2x as much for a private version of this gym. City takes a good care of it as well as the adjacent public pool

Very good place to stay in shape
It's a good basic gym. You're not going to have all the machines of a large gym but if you know a few exercises with dumbells and barbells and like the treadmill, ellipticals and stationary bike, it's more than enough. Plus you have basketball courts and fitness area where you can play your favorite HIIT routine on the second floor. If you are a city of Miami resident, the price cant be beat.

Great place to shoot some ball
They are remodeling! Hopefully once all the dust settles the gym will be even better than before. Looks like they are putting new bathrooms. They already have new treadmills up. The membership comes with towel service.
OK little gym. staff is accommodating and helpful. overcrowded and under stocked. dumbbells all over the floor but earlier than 6 pm you'll find an empty, useful little gym. for basic workout price is v. good. & a good area near the park and water where you can have your post w/o meal and watch the boats, fishermen, and manatees.

This place earns 5 stars for the very good and cheap yearly subscription. Around 100 USD per YEAR. Yes per year for the gym/ workout and bodybuilding access. They have the basics, NOTHING FANCY. I repeat nothing fancy. If you are looking to show off this is not the place for you. The facility includes (maybe they have more activities and provide more options I dunno)
