CrossFit OCI is a great place to make new friends while getting in shape! Crossfit is a unique class-style fitness program that uses a constantly varied, high intensity design of mixing weightlifting, gymnastics, kettlebells, running, rowing, biking, and more in order to broadly train your body for adaptations.
The best part is the Community that is generated. Everyone does the same workout, and no matter your level of ability, every movement can be scaled from beginner to elite. Everyone cheers each other on during the workout because everyone is feeling the same effect.
The coaches at OCI will make sure you have the appropriate weight and help with movement and any limitations you may have. The first prioirty is safety!
You'll also be greeted by welcoming smiles and members and reach out and include you if you're new. There are people who have various interests, so there's always someone to pair up with - runners, heavy lifters, gymnast, etc.
In addition to fitness, you'll find the willingness to help you with nutrition, mobility, and any other goal you might have.
There's also a separate childcare room with AC and staff. The room is visible from the workout floor, so you'll never be far from your kids.
Of course, after the workout, there's always popsicles to help cool off and recover!
It really is a great place to relieve stress, get better, and make great friendships.
