Amazing... experience. It's an all women's, air conditioned workout studio; the ladder is important to me that's why I mentioned it.You wear a heart-rate monitor and perform a variety of exercises, at different stations. The monitor captures if you're working too hard or not hard enough, etc. There is a coach assigned that observes, motivates and makes corrections in your form, if necessary. He or she will also make a general comment if it seems someone is working too hard or not hard enough; there's never any embarrassment. It'll just cause you to check the screen to see where you're at.
You can burn up to 600 calories in the class; I did. I'm sure you can burn more, but I didn't see a higher calorie burn in the class I participated in.
