Planet Fitness, it's a gym. But more than that, staff is great, area is always clean and sanitary. Large selection of equipment, and weights, etc. No judgement.. great place to to exercise, open 24hrs!! Great for me I work odd hrs.

This club is all about the money and fees and not about customer service. Beware of any fitness club that will only debit your checking account (they do this because it is much harder for you to get $ back, and it's a direct line to your funds once you give them the go ahead). Credit cards companies help when you need to challenge a charge on your account. They won't allow cancelling your membership online or over the phone, only in person at the facility you originally signed up. What if I move out of town? Shady company.

No thank you. NEVER give out your bank account DL and or SS number to any health club or gym. Hand them a bank debit card and if they don't take it, just walk away. You'll be glad you did.

Great price for a gym membership. Great concept. Friendly staff. Overall clean gym. Complaints: 1.The new paper towel dispensers to wipe the equipment. ( there needs to be two ). 2.There are too treadmill machines and they are too close together (expand the area). 3. There is only one shoulder press machine and one bicep/ alternating curl machine. The padding needs replacing on the bicep machine.

3 type massage chairs, excellent tanning beds. Ladies showers are some of the finest, l have traveled many states and the San Pablo Planet Fitness is one of, if not my favorite one.

Dont ask Jamal from planet fitness for help with anything he's useless wait monday for a manager to come in. Only way for help is to drive 6 hours from miami to Jacksonville for a club transfer.
Sep 26 -taken care of by the employees at Planet fitness 502A W 49th St, Hialeah, FL 33012 they were really helpful. Saved me a 6 hour drive to the club to get help with a transfer.

Update April 18, 2018. In the ab section, dust flying off the beams near fans, dust on lettering "abs & stretching." In the leg area, dirt near machines. Come on PF, you need to clean more than once a week. The PF in Chula Vista CA sets the standard for cleanliness
Older review: The staff are very hospitable. The place is good but when I was in the ab workout area there was a lot of white particles floating in the air. When I looked up, "Holy cow!", there is a mountain of dust on the ceiling beams. They have a lift machine to dust that area.

I have been a member at pf for 7 years now and it has not changed other that upgrades. They keep the gym up to date, clean and cool year round. They have everything you need to stay fit or get ripped and over 60 cardio machines. Great gym

Horrible tanning beds. They don't change their bulbs when they say they do. Too many hrs on them. I used to work for a tanning salon and they acted like they just changed them. Just go to the Bartram pf it is 100% better and better equipment too.

Terrible experience. They apparently don't care how their employees treat their customers, as one employee ( Yamilet) was able to make rude comments in a condescending way with nasty looks and was defended by management (Nick). I was then told that they were canceling my membership after being a paying member for over year, after the altercation the employee started. After that we requested that my boyfriends membership be canceled as well since he has hit some very unfortunate bumps in the road and could no long pay his monthly fees, so they did as we request but canceled the contract under the reason of "LUNK" which is a negative term they use in the gym. Needless to say I forewarn you to take your business elsewhere, as will me, my friends and family.

I've worked out here so often it seems unexciting to talk about the cleanliness of the facility. I owned my own gym for dozens of years and know the owners are not providing the best facility and they often need feed-back. Speaking to the young people working there, it seems the issues are not getting the owners attention. The showers have soap scum on the walls since last year, dust and daily dust-bunnies scurry around the floors. A complete cleansing of mirrors will help improve the visibility past the old hand prints. Other than the broken shower heads and the clogged shower heads. A quick fix to make this place be FIVE STARS, hire a completely experienced cleaning crew to start from the top to the bottom and from one end to the other. Other than those items I've mentioned, the place is with-standing a huge influx of the beginning "new year" members. Sadly, Forty percent will soon forgive themselves of their resolutions or possibly have already seen the place with the same vision as mine.

My daughter's and I try to go to the gym often. We love the atmosphere at PF. We never feel out of place and everyone is usually super friendly. I like that I can shower there.

Staff tried to intimidate me by getting in my face when informing me about water jug rule. On my next visit I brought in smaller water containers, after assuming it was a corporate thing and I shouldn't be angry with them. The Manager then referenced some catch all rule that says they can enforce any policy they want and my water container must fit in the cup holder, even after I pointed out 1) that this new one did, and 2) that I don't use the machines with cup holder but I tuck my water under the benches as you are supposed to do with any water container. Poor customer relation skills, lacking in equipment, and selective/ targeted enforcement of silly policies (who is intimidated by water?)

Working out is fun here and the showers are great but needs more friendly staff, I was really good friends with one of them and I was just informed he no longer works there, so sad face for that haha

I love this place! You can't beat the price. Its always clean. Staff are pleasant and attenative. The perks of massage chairs, beds, and tanning beds are a wonderful bonus. Ample parking. Lots of machines, meaning I have never had to wait for a machine of my choice. Only drawback for me is no yoga or aerobic classes. Also, no childcare. I don't mind that because my kids are grown, but I am sure some people wish there was childcare. On the other hand, some people may choose this place because of that.

Great place to workout. Staff is always friendly and upbeat. They just replaced the equipment with brand new stuff. Machines and weights seem to always be accessible. The trainer Rae is super passionate about fitness and very knowledgeable. The facility is very clean and is surrounded by places to eat and a publix next door which is great if you're on the go after your work out. Highly recommend.

PF is a great gym for the cost and its open 24/7!! It's not a hardcore gym facility and doesnt try to be but has all the equipment necessary for a thorough workout. I wish they had some occasional new machines to keep workouts fresh but still what they have is adequate for 90% of the gym users. I travel for business and pleasure and can usually always find a PF to use in most locations. Great music overhead and loud enough so you can hear it well. Only complaint and all gyms are guilty of this, too many patrons occupying a station with their faces in their smart phones and not on why they are in a gym!

Always get in a great workout with a relaxing massage at the end!!! Worth every penny spent!! The customer service and smiles is what keeps me coming back!!!
