This is a facility dedicated to the patients, family, and friends for the Mayo Clinic. This facility is usually well run with dedicated staff and support personnel. I say usually because as of last night, 01/12/20, my wife requested additional soap for our room. An email was sent confirming the request, but the items requested never arrived. Outside of this little hiccup, the service is usually outstanding.

Haven't slept here yet, but is by FAR about the worst! You cant sit on the sofa....you have to lay way back. Tiny room. The microwave , coffee and refrigerator are a part of the bathroom area. No breakfast provided. Balcony is about 3'x10'. Extremely expensive. Yes, convenient.

So far so good. Just checked in today, great welcoming and food has been great! Here for surgery thanks to work, so I will update as needed.

The Courtyard by Marriott in Jacksonville Florida is more than 5 stars its a perfect 10. Our stay was due to having a procedure done at the Mayo Clinic. The process of checking in to checking out went without any problems. If anything needed to be done they were on top of things without a problem The room was always done and replenish when we got back to our room. Staff from the front desk to cleaning staff friendly.

It was okay. It was clean and relaxing with that said though. You would think for mayo patients that it would be much cheaper it was still very expensive. Not ever patient comes with a big wallet and being on the hospital campus you'd expect more give. And many travel for far places. And to pay that much to realize breakfast wasn't included unless you we're a gold member. Sad even at a $60 a night hotel there's complimentary breakfast. At a $200 plus a night you'd expect more for your buck.

The restaurant is extremely overpriced and disappointing, the rooms are just so-so. I was surprised that something with the Marriott label would be so sub-standard.

The people working at the front desk are wonderful!!! I read somewhere here that the soap dried them out... Well geesh I'm sorry for them because the products i had in MY room did the opposite! The shampoo, body wash, conditioner and even lotion is all Tea Tree/Paul Mitchell brand. #hydratedskintothemax

Room was nice & clean. Pool was awesome! Plus it was quiet, which is what I needed while doing testing @ Mayo. Will stay here again. So convenient!

They are the best place you could ever think of because they have great employees and very delicious food, but the crazy thing is that they only serve breakfast and dinner. If you had extra company they would bring in a little bed for them to sleep in. My time here was just amazing.

What a pleasant stay! The staff here are top notch and so caring - they seem to understand many of their guests are in a difficult situation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and include a mini-fridge, microwave, and small Mr Coffee. Wifi is free. There's a little restaurant that's surprisingly good (with a full bar!) plus a snack shop that's open all hours. They have a heated outdoor pool and a small game room with foosball and ping pong for fun and blowing off steam. There's even an on-site laundromat. Free cookies, citrus water, and theater style popcorn are in the lobby. It's a 5 minute walk to the Mayo Clinic, but they have a very convenient shuttle bus that runs all the time. There's even a smoking area in the back of the parking lot with a picnic table - I'm told it's the only place smoking is allowed on Mayo property. I couldn't be happier with this Courtyard Marriott!

This is very nice courtyard. The rooms are clean, it's very close to the Mayo clinic. It's not too close to anything else though. Otherwise great hotel.

Nice hotel. I like the outdoor balcony and the quick easy access to the pool. Room is clean and bed is comfy. The room is smaller than most Marriott rooms, but its not significant. Staff is friendly! The location is ok if you are going to the Mayo Clinic. If you want restaurants, you will need to drive a couple miles. Not as accessible as I had hoped.

Great place to stay. Been here for 3 months and not one complaint, the staff is great here. They are very friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to make your stay here to be the best it can be.

The staff is very nice and accomadating and the food at the bistro was excellent. I was supposed to receive transportation to one of the buildings on the campus but the shuttle never showed. I ended up walking, but it did mean that I was late to my interview. Overall I greatly enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.

Always enjoyed staying at this hotel. Very close to the Mayo clinic. However the shower in our room was pitiful. The shower floor was peeling and looked dirty. There was only a hand held shower which was cumbersome at best because it was so low. The other issue we experienced was the restaurant. So disappointing! Please go back to your old menu. I realize you want to standardized every Courtyard but this one is different. The guests that are regulars are repeating guests who are at the Mayo clinic for treatment. They are either ailing or a senior. Your old menu was more comforting. Your new menu targets the millennials. And that's okay. But please, please consider the guests that stay at this particular Courtyard. We are not the only guests who are unhappy with the new menu items. Please just keep it plain and simple. Thank you for your consideration.

This hotel is well suited for the people it caters to, namely older people going to Mayo. Front desk staff very friendly. Room was clean. Would have liked to see Netflix available on the TV. Fitness center was tiny but I was able to work out. It was a pleasant stay.

Nice clean rooms, very quiet hotel! Perfect for Mayo Clinic patients, just a few feet out the front door is the best hospital in Florida :-) I also liked how they has fresh snacks at the front desk for free. In the morning it was just enough to hold me over until I got breakfast, but if I was fasting for medical test it wouldn't make my stomach rumble. Very thoughtful!

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...
Just stayed the night here and it was great. The Little bistro they have may be a little pricey, but my goodness is it worth it. If you go here make sure to try the grilled cheese! It's quiet and has a good bit if activities. Of course it was too cold to go into the pool but it was really nice!

We have appointments at Mayo so being on campus and able to just walk across the street is great! Getting a room with a King size bed is difficult as it is reverse from most hotels and has mostly two beds. Most of the staff is absolutely wonderful! There's only one guy who we've encountered that is rude and abrupt, everyone else goes above and beyond to be friendly and helpful!

Me and my wife stayed 2 nights here cause I'm in the process of getting a liver transplant. We live 5 hours away and come up every 4 weeks and stay between 2 days to up to a week. Convenient hotel to stay b/c the hotel is right across the street from the Mayo Clinic. Rooms are well kept, and so is the rest of the hotel. The staff are very courteous & polite. Beds are very comfortable. With all that said, we had a pleasant stay as always..

The hotel did not give us a room that was handicapped accessible as we requested. They gave us a key to a room that was already occupied. We ended up having to move two times to a room that had what we needed.

Very clean. Very helpful staff. Rooms were small and simple for the price. Very convenient to the Mayo Clinic.

Beautiful surroundings with a quiet atmosphere close to Mayo Hospital. Everything was nice and there was s nice little snack bar/eatery that served Starbucks.

Can walk to Mayo Clinic, which is great. Could use better restaurant facilities. Service was good.

Close to Jacksonville Mayo. Be sure they honor your reservation rate and don't attempt to change it. Restaurant lava cake is enough for two and a nice treat at the end of a travel day. Call and order it then pick it up and eat it. In your room.

Unfortunately I spend too much time at Mayo tendons in my medical needs. Having a friendly staff at your courtyard mail campus makes it much more pleasant for me. Chuck at the front desk Brittany Tammy all of the staff there Tim and others make her stay there very pleasant. Kudos to them. I have a comment to make however it would be much much nicer if the carpet where to be cleaned more regularly and or changed out room painting would also be suggested Furniture as well. Obviously this hotel as well used and should be kept in absolute Primo condition its location warrants it.

This hotel was terrible. For some reason, the entrance to the room was constantly humid and hot. It seemed like the vents from the room next for were connected. Also, this hotel does not have central air/heat but instead they use window units that weren't working correctly. The beds and sheets were the worst. Comfort was very low quality. The bed was rough. You don't get comforters. I would not recommend sleeping here.

Great rooms. Extremely nice staff. Awesome pool

Right on compound with the Mayo Clinic, it's an easy and lovely path walk to the hospital to visit loved ones. Even at the path is open and lit. The entire staff is professional, friendly and caring in dealing with family members and patients. The on sight restaurant is fantastic. The whole atmosphere made me feel calm while I worried about my loved one.

Clean. Smells good and feels good. We like a cold room with cool air. Ac works good. The lady that checked us in was very kind and professional. Pool is So warm and blue. Not crowded either, which i love. This hotel is in a great area too. A clean area. Mayo Clinic is right across the street.

Right on Mayo Clinics campus! Very clean and excellent service!! I upgraded to a suite due to longer stay. It was well worth the extra money It made the week very comfortable. Food was also very good! Will be back for my 6 week follow up!
