I've been going to this gym for over three years, and I love all the group classes ranging from yoga, spinning, body pump to body combat. The instructors are experienced and professional. They adjust your levels so that you're competing against yourself. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a pleasure to work out in a clean and pleasant environment.
Gym is great and has all the equipment you can imagine. They have a heavy equipment room in the back and an outdoor yard. Bathrooms are clean and organized.
The location is very convenient and is always clean. There is a ton of equipment to choose from, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and there is a sauna on site also. Would definitely recommend this location to friends and family.
Joined Bailey's Black Friday 2019. Haven't looked back since! Really enjoying the classes with Donna and Maret weekday mornings at Monument. They encourage us without being overbearing. The equipment is nice, and there is a women's only area as well. Lots of options here to get in shape or to maintain whatever shape you want!
I love going to Bailey's on Monument Rd because it is more convenient than trying to make it out to the Mayport base gym. The staff is helpful and friendly (particularly the two sweet girls up front) and the facilities are always clean and in order. I love attending both the real classes and the virtual. I like the Body Pump and the Body Combat classes. For the virtual I love the Body Pump. A plus for me is you can show up a little late or leave during the cool down and try heavier weights and there is usually no one there to judge you! I do wish this location would consider having a Pilates class.
So far they have been excellent. PT Darnell is knowledgeable and genuinely cares about my goals. Staff is mostly excellent and professional. Visit here almost daily.

I go so often to work out and enjoy the facilities. Love the layout of the gym equipment, building, and the staff are awesome. I have been to the larger location on San Jose and San Jose cannot compare to how welcome I feel at this location. Hands down best gym I have gone to.

Great gym. Plenty of equipment with a separate functional training and stretching room. Can get really busy.
One of the better gyms I have been too, not perfect but gets the job done
Been stuck in a contract for 2 years just waiting for it to be over! We signed up because at first glance it looked like an awesome gym. After signing the paperwork, they closed the Cadio cinema (a big of part of the reason we joined) and quickly learned that the equipment is always broken or out of date.... missing. This gym is always packed to the point where working out is a chore. The overall atmosphere just made me and my husband uncomfortable. I can't wait to move on!!!

The sign here says that their members are more precious than gold........hmmmm How come they couldn't waive a one time $10 fee for my friend that drove from the other side of town. Sounds like the gold is more precious to me. We we're not aware that they try to milk their clients and then charge and additional fee to upgrade on top of the cost to upgrade...take tsk bad business in my eyes. Could have had another membership but oh well your $10 fee plus additional fees are rediculous.
Great place to workout! Lots of equipment and space. Great friendly staff!
My wife and I have been going to Baileys for over a year now. They are great! We can drop our kids off(within the designated time the day care is open) and work out. The kids love "going to the gym". The facilities are awesome. Very rarely do I ever wait for something, even during busy hours and they have a pretty good variety of workout activities(no pools for you swimmers). Some locations have different stuff so you have to look at their website or call if you want to find something special(like monkey bars or climbing ropes). Haven't used the tanning a whole lot so I can't speak to that. The locker rooms are always reasonably clean. The classes are good. Some teachers are better than others so if you find one you like you would have to find out their rotation between the sites. The gyms are spread out pretty well through Jacksonville so no matter where i am there is usually a gym fairly close. The staff has always been helpful. My recommendation to the company on improvements would be to consider pools, outdoor training area, larger more robust functional training areas. Overall I've had a great experience at four of the locations I've visited this far. Highly recommend Bailey's!!

Can't stand Bailey's Gym. I'm not even going to waste time explaining why - just check out other gyms before committing to Bailey's.
Canceled my membership 13 days after signing up (even though is says all over their building 20 dollars a month with no membership required.) these employees are paid on commission- so a lot of them tend to be dishonest. I've heard numerous military guys say they have left on orders and they get back even after notifying this business that they are deployed they end up getting send to collections for over 500 dollars. This company does this so they can take advantage of you and sell your debt off to collectors for pennies on the dollar and receive massive tax write offs. After cancelation, this company sent me a bill for over 700 dollars. I canceled months prior to this, and was living in a different state. I sent numerous electric bills and pay stubs, saying I lived over 1500 miles away just a month after signing up, and somehow I'm responsible for this insane amount of money after utilizing this gym for 10 days. These people are scammers-- a quick search on the BBB website will reveal that.
I love the spin class every Wednesday. Juri is an awesome instructor! She will give you a serious workout.
The customer service is terrible. The membership is not built for convenience of anybody but the gym. The staff is rude and the gym is nasty.
I love baileys! I am a huge fan of workout classes and baileys has the best! i love there are several locations and if i am all over town i can choose one close by! The staff and front desk team at every location are super friendly!
Their corporate office who handles all payment inquiries/contract issues is horrible. There is literally 1 person there to answer phones if your lucky enough to get an answer, most the time its leave and msg and we wont call you back. I had a 2 yr contract and was using there service for 3 yrs, when I moved and tried to cancel my service they gave me this crazy run around that I had signed a 3 yr contract and basically wouldnt let me cancel. My gf also had issues with them and it took her 3 months to cancel her contract due to moving (they say u can cancel if you move greater then 50 miles which we did). They ended up charging her 3 extra months and sending her info to collections to scrounge up another $200 from her.
Terrible.

Before I went on deployment in March 2016 I gave the gym a copy of my orders to cancel my membership. A few weeks ago i received a phone call from a bill collector. Icwas billed from march 2016-2017 even though I gave this company a copy of my orders. I contacted my command in Jacksonville and asked for another copy of my deployment orders from over a year ago and they still had them. Baileys corporate office is still denying my orders and charging me 500+ dollars.
