This facility is very clean, everywhere. I'm not interested in aerobic classes so this facility suits me perfectly.
The tanning beds, hydro massage beds and recliners are such a nice addition. They also offer massage chairs.
They are open 24/7 which is a plus for those working shifts.

Best PF hands down. Been to several locations and this gym has the most amazing staff. Can't say enough good things. Good selection of equipment and never a fight to get on anything you want to use.

By far the best overall gym value available. Period. For$10/ month (less than $3/wk) you have 24hrs access of an excellent facility with showers to get fit and use as much as you want. I use the Bartram location and the place is clean, the staff friendly and helpful and plenty of equipment even during the busy hours. Highly recommended.

It's spotless and the machines are in perfect working order. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning supplies are easily available for people to wipe down the equipment. And there are sufficient machines that I rarely have to wait to use any piece.

The facility is a great place to workout. The staff is professional and keeps the place clean. Most quiet gym I've ever experienced, sort of weird. That said, I've complained several times about having only 1 water fountain location so I wait to use it many times and the "free" wifi rarely works. Fix it!!

This location is pretty good. Friendly front desk staff and the gym and locker room are always clean. I have the basic $10 membership and it suits my needs just fine, so you can't beat the price. There is an annual fee (I believe it is in the $40 range), but that's still reasonable in my opinion. It's also great that they are open 24 hours because I prefer to get an early start and work out around 5:30 am or so. The only thing I can ding them on, is I wish they had some rowing machines instead of just treadmills, bikes and elliptical machines. Maybe one day they will get them :)

Great gym, big and comfortable with nice locker rooms. Friendly desk staff and I absolutely love the hydro-massage beds! One downfall (distraction) is the women do butt exercises in the free weight area, holding up machines sometimes. But honestly, who cares lol

Great gym.. Good people..no intimidation
The air conditioning needs to be turned down.it's like a freezer in the main workout area..my nose starts running as soon as I enter the gym. Asked the front desk and was told the manager will not lower the air conditioning so its not so cold. It's unhealthy. Other people have complained about it being way to cold also. i

This is the nicest planet fitness I have been to hands down . Awesome up to date equipment, great use of space, and a beautiful building that's well kept and maintained. The staff was very cool and helpful. Also everyone in the gym was pretty friendly.

I joined this location over a week ago and I was very unimpressed with the customer service from day #1. I recently transferred to another location of PF because it was more convenient for me and ever since, it's like the employees are so hateful. Today, I came in to this location and wanted to buy a drink. I assumed my card was on file, since it is st the other location. The male employee said since a rude tone, ohohh well you go to orange park location, I'll need your debit card. Ok, np but why so rude? This same employee told me that PF does not give out tee shirts either. He claimed that no location does, yet my friend joined the orange park location and got one . We joined online on the exact same night! Why so much hate for other locations?? I have a black card so i can go anywhere. I chose to use this location today. I left so aggravated. Unfortunately, i didn't catch his name but seriously, I don't think I'll be using this location much. I live in Mandarin but the snotty attitudes at this location is sickening!
On another note, there was one employee at the front desk that was very nice. He stated he was from NY. He should train these other people, asap, before you lose other people to other locations!

Idiots at the front desk. Apparently no one is trained correctly at that location because they gave me two different pieces of information for the same question and then when I go there to do what I needed to get done they told me that I wasn't able to do it at all and out the other people that I had talked to prior to going there or wrong or new. If we're going to run a successful business that you need to have a little muscle in the head not just muscle working out in your facility.

I've never had an issue here. The staff is friendly and helpful. The machines are clean and work properly. The entire establishment is kept clean and working. I tend to go around 8-10pm, this is around the end of the evening rush. The only complaint I have is that after 9 the employees are difficult to find (normally they are understaffed and the 1 employee working is tending to cleaning the locker room, emptying trash bags, etc.) So I have to find them or wait if I want to use the massage chairs or tan. They need 2-3 people on staff till 12am, instead of 1.

Not a good experience with the front desk staff. I don't know why? Was it my age (59) or appearance (casual?) Just having a bad day at work? Just didn't seem very nice or interested in having a potential new customer...
BTW, it's not just $10.00-a-month (open 24-hours.) There's a $29.00 + tax start up fee and on February 1st you Will have an annual $39.00 + tax fee--no matter When you join. Also, don't forget the 1-year mandatory commitment, which can be bought out for an additional fee of $58.00...

Lots of new machines and nice equipment. Could use a few more bench press stations but that's really my only complaint. Tends to get pretty busy after work, but if you're an early riser then I'd recommend hitting it up before work. Around lunchtime is a great time to pop in as well.

Desperately need free weight barbell equipment. Make room by ditching some of the fancy machines.

I appreciate the owners response. First I want to say that PF is an excellent value to its members and has enough equipment to adequately train oneself.
I've provided the barbell feedback to the website's member feedback. I've added a photo of the equipment and area that could be changed to get to 5+ stars in my own personal opinion.
Again, PF is going an outstanding job. Keep up the good work.

This is the nicest planet fitness I have ever been to! (I've utilized about 20 facilities in Florida) Cleanliness is superb, plenty of equipment and the location is great! The only reason why I gave four stars is because the staff was not the friendliest. All of them were standing around talking to each other instead of greeting guests and had snooty attitudes. That isn't very inviting to someone taking their first steps towards a better future for themselves.

Adding this comment 3/31/17 - the guy who trains people in the morning is a joke. While assisting people, he is on his phone texting. He doesn't pay attention to see if they are even lifting weights correctly. While doing class this morning, he wasn't going around helping people with their form or even encouraging people to push through the pain... What a joke this guy is!!
Amazing crew... Love the morning crew. So nice and helpful, always keeping everything so clean.. Very attentive to members needs..
