Family purchased equity certificate. After 4 years we resigned after being denied club membership twice without cause. My stepfather requested refund as permitted 2003. Ten years later the club hides behind by laws. Now stepfather passed away. Mother in 2013 and again 2015 requested refund as surviving spouse. The club has been unsympathetic to my mother as a widow. To date they state shes on some list and only moved 2 spots to receive refund as stated in original contract. However, after diligent inquiry I discovered dozens of new equity members. Deerwood Club operates with fraudulent motives. Now we are preparing for legal suit. What a shame that a supposed exclusive club operates this way and exposes members to legal arbitration risking far greater financial loss. If you are thinking of opting in as an equity member I advise you to rethink and look elsewhere based off our experience and rude treatment

Great golf course that hosted PGA Tour prior to moving to Players Club. Food is fabulous and staff is very courteous.

My mother in law hosted my Bridal Shower here and it was sooooo adorable and super classy. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us and I loved the room with a great view of the green and lake.

I attend monthly meetings at the lovely club house. The food and service are excellent. You can't beat the view of the golf course. It's just beautiful.

Beautiful venue for the company Christmas party however guard at the gate was very creepy when taking my information for visiting. Started taking about Hitler and kept adjusting himself right in front of my car and wouldn't lift the gate until I got forceful about being late. Was not a pleasant experience

Best club in town. Great food. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Golf course is in great shape. Fitness center is top notch.

Good local country club that is centrally located in Jacksonville. I have never played golf here, but I've attended numerous events at the clubhouse and it accommodates 50 to 200+ people well. Love the back patio overlooking the golf course.

As I do a lot of driving for people in top-notch places in society I have encountered Deerwood Country Club a few times and I must say that is one place that I am very impressed with
