The best thing I have ever done for myself!
I have never felt better or stronger. My knee and back pain has vanished. My negative side-effects from having a baby the natural way (ladies...you KNOW what I mean), have almost completely resolved themselves. And while I didn't start Pilates with Tressa to loose weight, I've dropped a dress size and my clothes fit much better with little to no change in my diet.
My husband, who owns Jacksonville Sport and Spine, insisted I start working with Tressa at Life Balance after taking 4 years off from working out after having a baby.
I was so out of shape, I was starting to get achy and knee/back pain. I needed to re-hab and start slowly to prevent injury from a new workout-routine. When I first scheduled with Tressa, I had no idea what Pilates really was, or what it was capable of doing. It's like Physical Therapy meets strength training meets yoga meets barre...I can't even describe it. After a few sessions, I realized I didn't need to do Pilates to get ready to do a different workout...Pilates IS the best exercise/work out I have ever done! (and I've done MANY...Cross Fit, Orange Theory, Personal Trainers, Barre, etc.)
Several months later, I'm still very happy and challenged every class. Tressa personalizes every session to what I need that day and my overall goals.
It is perfect for every fitness level. I recently found out that my former Kindergarten teacher trains with Tressa, too! (She looks amazing, by the way). For reference, I was in Kindergarten in 1987.
